Stayed for 1 week with family. No...

Stayed for 1 week with family. No proper welcome at reception on arrival a smile even would have been nice. This hotel caters for around 10-20 coach loads of mainly chinese visitors that seem to stay for 1-2 nights and then move on for the next lot to arrive. Breakfast buffet was very simple with only very cold fried eggs, small hot dog sausages, ham and toast. A very small selection of asian food was available as well but this was also cold and very tasteless according to my thai wife. I have previously lived in thailand for 10 years and I can honestly say the breakfast was the worst I have experienced. We had a large room as we needed an extra bed and cot which was fine. A kitchen is provided but with no plates or utensils provided which seemed pretty pointless. The bathroom looks new but the water from ther shower manages to work its way around the ledge around the bath and soaks the bathroom floor which is a pain as it is like a little paddling pool for the next victim. I knew the hotel was out of the way as that is what I wanted and with having a hire car is no problem but if you don't have your own transport then this hotel is a pain to get to the main areas in Pattaya. I don't recomend this hotel unless you are on a coach with 30 other chinese tourists.

The maing problem with this hotel was...

The maing problem with this hotel was the location. It is too far from the beach, it took me about an hour to walk to the beach. To avoid the walk you can take a cab or ride on the back of a moped. Riding on the moped was fun, but not everyone is going to think so. The hotel itself was nice, very clean, though the air conditioner was not very strong and the beds were very firm. I would recomend this hotel to families as because it is off the beach you won't find many guests bringing girls back to their rooms.
