Good value and great views
We stayed six nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and the air conditioning good, with a couple of bottles of free water each day. Our room was made up each day with fresh towels, despite not being required and reusing an option. A drying rack on our balcony was well used to dry bathers and towels The staff always greeted us nicely and the breakfast was nice and varied eg. Eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, pancakes, salad and local cuisine of noodles and rice.
The pool is a welcome relief from the heat and gives nice beach views below.
Many have commented on the location which gives nice views over Kata beach, but is a bit of a climb back home. While this was true we did not find it a problem with taxi and tuk tuks available at $200 Bart one way to get us back. The walk from the resort into the main street only takes around 10-15 minutes, or a courtesy bus leaves regularly for the beach.
They would do well to offer poolside snacks and drinks by walking by those lounging around the pool area, although you can walk to the restaurant and place orders.
The grounds are well kept and are a joy to meander around in.
All up a very nice place to stay.

We had to pay to use wifi and it wasn't cheap. 100baht per hour which we thought was pretty steep considering the amount you pay to stay there. The hot food at breakfast was always cold so not enjoyable. Located at top of very steep hill but ok if your young and fit. Overall poor value for money and wouldn't recommend it.

Great swimming pool, good food, nice view on to the beach. We received free upgrade to villa for 3 days, but the hotel would not agree to extend this upgrade for longer and at full price this would be a poor value for money.
The hill is approx 200 walk, quite steep, but had no problem with a toddler on my hands. 400m to the beach.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the beach, very clean with lovely helpful staff. Nice food and very cheap. Situated on a steep hill, however any young, fit person would not have a problem with it. For older people,taxis and the hotel shuttle buses are ideal. Very enjoyable stay!

Fabulous hotel, very posh and the staff...
Fabulous hotel, very posh and the staff treat you like royalty. Everything is clean & tidy. Perfect for sun lounging and a romantic feel. It is at the top of a very steep hill however so not suitable for the elderly (although you can get a tuk tuk up which we did everyday!). They do offer a free shuttle service to and from the town though which is good. It is only a 4-5 minute walk down the hill into town which is good. The hotel food/drink is very expensive I would advise (but with smart hotels you are going to get this though). Thoroughly happy with this hotel and I would recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel was very nice apart from the construction work going on. During our stay there was building work going on in the main reception next to the pool and restaurant. One night the work even went on to past 9pm and it was impossible to relax by the pool in the day with the constant drilling going on.
The hotel would not give us a refund or a discounted rate when we wanted to leave because of the noise.
The breakfast was very expensive for what you got
The hotel is also on a steep hill which is difficult to walk up. The Tuk tuks also charge a very high price to take you up the hill although it is less than a mile from the centre

As a family of 5, we had...
As a family of 5, we had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. The staff are very friendly and obliging. The views over the bay are sensational and well worth been up the very steep hill away from the beach. The pools and gardens are very aesthetic and the self serve buffet breakfast is excellent. With three small children it would be good if there was an indoors games/ activity room as it is very hot in the middle of the day to be outside.

Hotel looks lovely and the staff were helpfull and friendly. Very nice land scaping every where.
Room was excellent, lovely laid out pool(s). Big room and bed.
It was at the top of a steep bit of hill which takes quite a walk if you are up to it, but the views are fanstic down onto Kata beach.
For tours you will likely be the first picked up and last dropped off.
Lots of pools/ponds, and I think that resulted in a lot of mozzies around that get into the rooms! Rooms could do to have small bug zappers or traps.
I would stay there again. FANTASTIC value for money!
