We stayed twice first for two days...
We stayed twice first for two days then for six first occasion we had two rooms over the restaurant one room seemed to have the air conditioning duct connected to the garbage room the smell was unbearable. On the next occasion we had rooms over the lobby and I have no complaints about either room. Watch the tuk tuks they will rip you off. Hot water was an issue looks like its solar or nothing. Afternoon showers are the go. The pools where great. If there is ever another tsunami you will be safe, its a long way up the hill. We did not use the mini bar however someone was filling out the slips we refused to pay and they complied. Watch the mini bar.

A good location if you like walking...
A good location if you like walking up hills! Lots of stairs and steep slopes to move between rooms and facilities. Have to walk down a steep hill to get to the shops and restaurants. Transport to and from the hotel not readily available at the door and often had to walk up a steep slope to get back to the hotel as some tuk tuks reluctant to drive up there.
One of our rooms was very smelly- strong musty smell- quite unpleasant. Service sometimes very slow.
The main pool area is very pleasant and restaurant area nice but we preferred the food away from the hotel.

There is nothing wrong with the hotel...
There is nothing wrong with the hotel as such, but out of the few hotels that I've stayed in I didn't feel that the level of service and hospitality was at the usual service I've encountered.
The villa was fine, and the location is pretty good if you don't mind the steep hill. I just think that for the money that would be better options.

Peach Hill owns one resort and one...
Peach Hill owns one resort and one hotel, sharing all facilities such as restaurant, swimming pool and spa. Resort room is bungalow style, but price of the hotel room is much cheaper. The service of the hotel is of high standard as compare to its price. Room is cleaned everyday with all necessities refilled. Hotel is 5min walk to the beach, which is considered as the most near by hotel in Kata Beach area. If you are a budget young traveller who does not stay in the hotel most of the time, this is just the right place to drop by.

The standard room we stayed was not...
The standard room we stayed was not the same standard as the whole hotel overall. It is shame that this kind of hotel offers so poor quality rooms (standard room number 229). The fridge in the room was dirty, walls and floor was full of strange looking spots and the balcony was small and had view to the dirty walls. However, the location of the standard room building was ideal. Furthermore, hotel has quite nice breakfast buffet and wonderful swimming pools. I wouldn´t stay in the standard rooms again, but I could consider to staying in deluxe room in this hotel.

Although the reception staff were very helpfull, this is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where the bellboy indicated that the tip I had given him was not enough. By the time I had got to my room I had two bellboys one holding each case, not having a lot of change I gave them each a note, but was asked if I knew this was only half a dollar. There were 62 steps down to the dining hall for breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to any unfit person as it is on the top of a very steep hill. They do however have units at the bottom of the hill but there is a very steep hill or lots of steps should you need to go to breakfast. It is close to the beach, but make shure you catch the free bus back.

I stayed 12 nights at Peach Hill...
I stayed 12 nights at Peach Hill in December 2006. We had a great sea view room, unfortunately that was as good as it got. Every morning the water was cold. We were told that by the time the water got to us it had run out ! They offered to move us but we had a bad view over the mountains. We took a free evening meal to compensate. Breakfast was a shambles plenty of staff but not really doing anything. All hot food was cold. On our last morning we asked for an early morning call at 06.30 we did not get it and could have missed our flight and guess what the water was still cold.

As a travel agent we travel extensively and found this hotel to be very friendly, clean and very helpful. It is centrally located and the staff when out of their way to be helpful.
Would stay here again and highly recommended it to any traveller.

The part of the hotel I stayed...
The part of the hotel I stayed in was fairly basic, but was excellent value for money. The location was superb with Kata Beach being a short walk away and many bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.
