enjoyable resort with location to match for quiet relaxing holiday. beach club well organised with staff giving excellent attention. all staff were very professional in their dealings with us being extremely well mannered & courteous. definately stay at indigo pearl again.

Good but not 5 Star
Have stayed here on 3 previous occassions but was disappointed this time. The hotel is obviously now very popular and as it was Songkran and then Easter the hotel was very busy. The pools are wonderful but the hotel has sucumbed to the problem of people getting up early and putting towels on the sunbeds- only fot them not to be used for half the day - very annoying.
This time we had a kelly room. They are all downstairs and surrounded by concrete walls. The sun never reaches them consequently the room and many of our clothes always felt slightly damp.
Having said this it is a lovely hotel. Breakfast is wonderful with choice for everyone. The setting is great and the hotel is good at cleaning up its beach at the beach club when debris comes in.
I would go again and recommend to others but only if I can get a good price. It is nice but not 5 Star

Fabulous hotel - fantastic grounds with easy access to sea and range of small restaurants worth eating at - lovely pools at least one adults only (great when your own children are now grown up!) - very helpful and accommodating staff - great range of quality food for breakfast - a real sense of first class facilities and build (tin mine theme interesting - we played spot the tin mine idea a lot) - location is quite remote but that is what we wanted - good taxi service available (but we thought this pricey compared to bangkok and Krabi, for example)- would fully recommend hotel to anyone.

hi i dont want to be a moaning holiday maker ,but would like to add indigo was lovely hotel ideal for airport ..... BUT the price we payed for 3 nights for 3 adulds was a real rip off ,the room was so tiny we told reception but got no joy ,,, also everytime you had shower water leaked on floor .....we stayed in 4 ** around phuket and they were imaculate large rooms ,,, we had early morning flight thats why we stayed .... overall hotel lovely to look at and fantastic breakfast ....not enough beach loungers for size of hotel ....we found brill resturant /bar on beach called mamma mias very friendly staff and good food and very cheap ,lorraine darren and natalie from Leyland England

We stayed in the Plantation Villa which was lovely and secluded. There wasn't a lock on the main outdoor entrance to the villa which was a bit worrying as room service used to come in without us knowing they were there (and without ringing the door bell). There was a bath outside the front which was a bit strange - again, not really private enough knowing you couldn't lock the outside door...
All staff were friendly, professional and provided an excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Indigo Pearl to our family/friends.

An unusual hotel based on the Tin...
An unusual hotel based on the Tin Mines of Thailand. A lot of concrete and tin around and rusting objects in the gardens. We stayed for 3 days and I don't think we would want to stay much longer as the 'novelty' of the 'tin/metal' soon wore off. Also found young airline crew a bit rowdy at happy hour around the adult pool. A very pleasant hotel with good food (although a little expensive compared to many Thai hotels), very clean, with good service and close to the airport when your ready to leave. But perhaps a little too quirky for us for a long stay.

Great hotel and service all around. The only weak area is the beach, as all fishing boats are just moored right in front.
The food is excellent and there are a lot of restaurants you can choose from if you stay for a week. The hotel is close to golf courses and the airport, which is a plus.

when we arrived we were a little suprised that the indigo pearl suites room we had booked over looked the new pools and were lacking a little privacy!!!......... but after a quick chat with tina at the front office we were offered a different room that excelled ALL our expectations and they helped us move rooms with the greatest of ease.
the facilities at the hotel were very good the staff very attentive and friendly especially the restaurant and bar staff.
if there was a negative we found the hotel beach club a little small with sunbeds to close together not allowing enough privacy and the food in the restaurants a little on the expensive side compared to other 5* hotels in phuket.

We stayed here in Oct 08. The resort was wonderful with excellent service from all the staff. The buffet breakfasts were fantastic with lots of choice and was replenished even at the end of service. The additional bonus was that breakfast was served until 11.30 - so for those late risers (like us!) it was great.
The room was lovely (we stayed in an pearl bed suite) although previous comments about the poolside rooms not being very private are correct as we overlooked one. The room was clean and reasonably spacious for our needs.
We didn't use any of the amenities (apart from pool) or restaurants so am unable to comment but as previous coments we ate at the cafes on the beach and the food was excellent. The pools areas were really nice especially as there were separate pool areas for families and couples if required.
Downsides for some travellers may be that some of the rooms are a long distance from the main area - this was great for us as we had lots of peace and quiet but for older people it may be an issue.
Also the resort is away from the main entertainment areas of Phuket - so anybody wanting to party would probably not enjoy it here - although taxis are available we found them expensive.
For us though it was a perfect resort which was hard to fault.
