Few comments:
- Customer service: Waiters at the resturants were friendly, but have bad communicatoin skills due to lack of second language.
- Bathroom: Water wash or hose near the toilet seat, are not installed.
- AC Engine: It will be better to fix them in another place, rather than installing them in the corridors near the rooms.

Room and food
Food was just amazing. Very good quality, and personnel really efficient.
The rrom booked was for 4 people, and it was really too small. Basically they consider a room for 4 if you have a king size bed....So puting 2 adult and two kids in only one bed is not reallistic. Then we add a bed and it has been charged.
Globally it was an excelent hotel, just consider room size if you want to book it for familly.

Fantastic Hotel
The room was so clean and spacious. I would recommend the Novotel Phuket to anyone. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Its about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Patong. My only minor issue was our room was in the middle of the hotel, and because it is on a hill walking up and down the stairs to get to the breakfast area and the pool became a struggle as we have two young kids aged 3 1/2 and 2. The babysitter we used was also very warm and friendly so if you have kids ask for Sukhnya as she is a mother herself and the kids really like her. Other than the stairs, we had an amazing expericence and would recommend it to anyone.

Novotel Phuket
Fantastic location with excellent free daily activites ie fruit peeling, thai boxing, thai cooking, introductory scuba dive, napkin folding plus they have a gym with sauna. They provide a courtesy bus to and from the shopping centre. The staff were wonderful and could not be more friendly and the buffet breakfast was superb. Rooms were clean and tidy with maid service every day. Beautiful views from the hotel and easy enough to work into town from the hotel. Definetly be back!!!

dine at hotel due to other cmmitments (wedding),but was really very comfortable and clean
had breakfast every day abit repetitive menu but still agood selection though.
will stay here again,value for money this time.

Lovely place
Great atmosphere for kids and family. Resort itself has a lot to do, but the kids club is very limited and only suitable for under 5's. Food is great with heaps of choice. Nice to be away from the main Patong centre and the beach across the road is accessible and a bit quieter. Friendly staff and rooms are consistent with the Island resort theme

The package was only for 2 adults and 2 children but I've got 3 young children. When I booked it I rang asiarooms and spoke to someone to either add extra bed or pay extra for another child,and he rang up Novotel. However, Novotel said that they couldn't do that since the room was only for 2 adults and 3 children. So we have to make arrangements for one of my children to stay with someone else while we were in phuket even though I knew she wouldn't have wanted it and that was the case when we arrived there. We then had no choice but to asked again at the Hotel whether I could pay extra for her to stay with us and they said yes and charged us $50.00AU per night. How was that possible? When they said no when asiarooms rang them up? And 50 dollars was a bit expensive, specially in Thailand. I stayed in Malaysia and they only charged my third child $8.50US with breakfast.
Anyway the staff weren't very friendly at the reception or restaurant, except the concierge staff. I felt like we were being watched all the time.
The buffet breakfast wasn't very good, not much variety and nearly same food everyday.
Too many stairs you have to walk before reaching your room, not suitable at all for young kids.
I was charged tax (vat) when I booked tours with them and when queried they took it off from the hotel account. You can't just add and take things off whenever you feel like it. I was very dissapointed with my stay Novotel Phuket.

Good hardware, bad software
Hotel is typical case of great hardware (facilities, locations) and bad software (customer service), Seems they brought in all the bad things of France into the wonderful world of Thailand. It took us 1 hour to check in, rooms were not available for family, Restaurant closes early so we could not even order desert on late lunch (we ordered at 5.02 while kitchen closes at 5:00 pm). Three bills to pay in stead of one. We left after two days as had enough and found fantastic other resort in Phuket that made again our Holiday a success !

They are poor and no care to...
They are poor and no care to us. Travel Agent Desk arranged Taxi for 5 Minutes Walk and charged BHT 200. Did not come any staff to bring baggage when I check out.
