This is my second time in Patong Beach Hotel, i noticed the overall standard has dropped, in spite i have stayed in the new section, but the floor was not clean.
the staff are very very friendly in the reception, restaurant and room service they are all great,
what a nice team :)
but I feel the hotel is over priced.

Hotel Service 24hours?
After a long day of outdoor activities, finally settled in hotel room late at night.(2am local time(Phuket))
Noticing hotel room safebox was not working and is late, therefore decided to deposit our passports n mobile phones at the hotel Lobby customer service the next day morning before setting off for water sports.
7am local time(Phuket) the hotel boy told us that they are unable to keep our things and said "why didn't inform them earlier on the faulty safebox. Now how to find people to fix the safebox?"

This is the closest beachfront hotel to Jungceylon (5 mins walk). The hotel is old and needs a renovation. The interior design of the bigger Deluxe Room is not ideal - the toilet bowl area isolated and the doors are not user friendly. The glass door to the shower is totally transparent and it came as a suprise for us (family with children).

Hotel is in a great location to access all Patong has to offer.
Breakfast is extensive and tasty.
Only complaint I have is that the beds are way too hard.
You may as well sleep on the floor.
Value wise the Hotel is probably a little over priced.

The Hotel Staff are extremely courteous and friendly, and the security is very well thought of. No strangers are allowed into the hotel, at night especially, even if its escorted!
However, one week before i tried to cancel one of the 3 rooms i booked, asiarooms wouldn't allow. And i think its really compromising from asiarooms

We found the hotel centrally located &...
We found the hotel centrally located & with pleasant environment & nice pool & very near the beach (walking distance). But the service was not so good or efficient right from the check in to check out. We had booked & paid for sea view suites but were told that there was no such thing! Took several hours to sort something out.
