Discerning travels will learn quickly which street not to go up to get to hotel by foot.
Didn’t think much of the hotel’s dinner buffet, but breakfast was definately worth it.
Great views from restaurant at top of building (about level 24 from memory)
Comments about Phuket;
Markets were over priced (Check out places with price tags on them first ie - carrefour - most goods don't pay more than B 300-400 and even that's too much in many instances)
Tailors are very annoying they try to pull you in off the streets - it's almost harassment,
(Men’s shirts don't pay any more than B 700 - you can probably get cheaper, but don't pay more)
Fantasea show well worth the visit - buy your ticket outside the hotel and save$$$. As a single I got it for B-1300 including transfers and banquet. (Didn’t think much of the banquet dinner - Show was excellent)

The staff were always happy, polite and willing to assist. We liked the pool, which has a good set up.
We can honestly say that there was nothing to complain about. Thankyou very much for our stay at the Royal Paradise,

the bathroom is dark and dingy.
Efficient and polite reception staff.
Travel agency located at the lobby offers transfer to airport at ripped off prices. Go to Happy Tour which is located about 40metres outside the hotel for cheaper transfer.

I have stayed in this hotel 7-8 times.I have always found the staff to be pleasant and courteous.On my last trip I was hospitalised on my second day and the whole front desk crew arrived at The International Hotel in Phuket with a beautiful fruit basket.I think you should give this hotel another star!!!

we have stayed at the royal paradise on several occasions, it is extremely good value for budget value customers, however the service given to customers is very much first class. the staff are extremely friendly and helpfull. the breakfast choice is quite good and varied, also the evening meal buffet is very good value, with a wide choice of dishes. i have no hesitation in recomending the royal paradise to any traveller looking for a homely, friendly, efficent service. well done to all at the royal paradise.
