Interesting experience @ Andaman Beach Suites :-)
There's 4 of us and all girls, we booked 2 Superior rooms for 25 til 27 April 2012 but when we arrived they said that we got complimentary upgrade room from Superior to Deluxe, which is good (maybe because the low season thing). Although when we asked connected room and they said okay but in reality it's not connected we still happy :-).
The staff is quite helpful though their English is little hard to understand so sometimes we had some misunderstanding. But we got little upset with one of the night shift staff in front office. She helped us arranging the transportation to Big Buddha and airport the same day and we will be picked up at 11am. In the morning we waited for almost a hour without any news (the night staff didn't left any message to her other colleagues in morning shift and she's not contactable too) and when the driver came she said that the hotel staff told her to go to the hotel at 12pm. The morning staff apologizing to us many times but the night staff when we met again didn't say anything as if nothing happen x_x.
We really think that the front office staff need to learn how to be more professional, especially in the terms responsibility and integrity. Apart from that incident, we enjoy our stay in Andaman Beach Suites and looking forward to come again.

Not bad at overall.
The location and the staffs are good, very near to beach and friendly staffs. Hawker stalls are also nearby if you do take local food. Breakfast food met our expectation but quality of food can be improved. The downsides of the hotel are there is no free wifi as you need to buy the timeslot for wifi usage, and the toilet bathtub is not as clean as it should be, dirty stain can be spotted on the hand towel. Last but not least, marble floor of the floor is not clean for you to walk in the room in bare foot as you need to wear shoe. Other than that everything is good. Still a place worthy to stay.

The hotel is in a great location...
The hotel is in a great location and most of the rooms have great views of the beach and bay. The staff are adequately nice, but do not seem very happy.
There are currently renovations going on within the hotel and a new boutique hotel is being built right next door. As a consequence, during the day (9am to 6:30pm) it is extremely noisy. A notice in the rooms advises that it was only due to go on until the end of October 2010, however I can't see how they will be finished by then.I booked in for 9 nights and on the fourth day was going to check out due to the level of noise which made it possible to relax and enjoy the hotel's great pool and facilities. The manager very kindly upgraded me to a room on one of the higher levels, however the construction noise was still audible. So, if you are wanting a resort to 'chill out' in this is probably not the place to stay anytime soon. But for those doing day trips and tours etc. staying here should not be an issue.

Booking was made not knowing they cater for Single occupancy room-USD$34. I turn up with my partner and was charged another Baht$1,000 for additional guest,which Asiarooms list at an additional USD$9 for the Double Room (USD$43.32). So be cautious when book. No breakfast provided as well.

Excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great pool and good facilities. I had a room on the 17th floor. Views to die for over the bay. Watched the sun set every night and on a good one, fantastic colours.

We booked 3 rooms and they were really spacious with separate raised platforms as sitting areas, adorned with comfy sofas. More than sufficient space to air-dry your soaked clothings. Great view of the pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Super clean and free from mosquitoes! Powerful shower and generous supply of clean towels and amenities daily. Lots of inhouse facilities such as billiard, pool, foosball and table-tennis. Snacks and seafood stalls available right outside the hotel, in addition to minimarts, photo studios, massage and hair parlours. A short 5min walk to Patong Beach with considerable F&B options. An approximate 5min tuk-tuk ride to Bangla Rd, the most happening area of Patong. Will definitely recommend to future Patong Beach enthusiasts!
