Arrived in the early hours a bit shocked at first when you walk into the reception the area looks like a up market garden shed.But when you get passed this the rooms were big and clean and there are 3 nice pools and the staff are freindly.The breakfast was very poor 9 times out of 10 you ended up sharing a table with other people.I thought the price we paid was a bit over the top but we enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

We had a beautiful week at Best Western Hotel at Karon Beach. The hotel was perfect for us, with a friendly staff and the hotel was in a good condition and situated 200 m from a fascinating beach. But the hotel is not suitable for walking-impaired people.

Great hotel, really nice breakfast, very friendly staff, mai tai on arrival (very important!) Room was clean and the bathroom was fairly new. Good location only 2 mins walk from the beach. Great value!

Great value. Hotel was clean and had 2 nice pools with fresh pool towels daily. Room rate included breakfast buffet. Hotel built on a hill overlooking the sea so it had good views of the sunset. Room was nice with a shared sundeck. Bathroom appeared a bit run down, but overall we had a pleasant stay and would return. Only real drawback was no internet in the room, but it was available in the lobby for a fee.

I am Mrs Francis and would like to give my opinion.
Booked in for 5 nights - OK but the first room we were offered was not good. We were moved to another room after 2 nights - therefore cannot complain about service.
Restaurant could not cope with breakfast - too many people at same time.
However New Years Eve - total disaster. DO NOT !!
We had been on a 4 week trip around Vietnam and Cambodia and came to this hotel for a relaxing New Year. The 'obligatory meal' was horrible - cost £30 each whereas an excellent meal was available 5 mins walk at Mali Waterfront for a quarter of that price. Also I was sick that night and had a miserable NY day.

it was ok just that the bathroom wasnt the as expected and the place is a little run down. They also charge extra if you have a guest stay with you overnight. Otherwise it was good.
