Top notch but very quiet
This place is amazing for the price. 5 star customer service and a beautiful hotel. If you expect much to do away from the hotel, then you will be disappointed.
There are a few places to eat and drink, but when I say a few I mean 6 or 7.
If you are looking for mad and fast Phuket then you will be disappointed.
To see anywhere else we found a cab was needed.
All said I found this area very relaxing.

A hidden treasure. This is (probably) the last piece of real Phuket left in an increasingly tourist island. The local residents retain their quiet, friendly charm which makes this somewhere you'll have to return to. A local long-tail boat is good value and a great way to see something of the coastline and nearby near-deserted islands.

Not excellent, but value for money
stay 3 nights, get an extra bed for free, that is good. But hotel is a bit old, and food is a bit expensive.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Kantary...
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Kantary Bay. The staff was EXCELLENT! They helped us with our every need. What the Kantary Bay was lacking (beach and spa services) the Panwa Hotel had available for our use. They had a shuttle from the Kantary to Panwa Hotel, which took about 3 minutes. During the low season they were doing construction on parts of the hotel. However, the hotel offered a free nightly BBQ with free beer and wine to offset the construction. We will definitely stay at the Kantary Bay again!

It's really a pleasant stay! We got...
It's really a pleasant stay! We got to Know this hotel since few years ago and we decided to stay here for our next trip from then. Room and breakfast are excellent, as well as their service, you see smiles every where. All these made our trip relax and enjoyable. One thing negative is that the tab water is a bit dirty, if the hotel add a filter to make the tab water clearer would be a plus for hotel facilities. Thanks to all hotel staff, we will be back for sure.

Friendly staff, very clean large and praticle room in one of the best location in Phuket. Just the breakfast (included) could be a little more thaï oriented...

Stay was perfect beyond words. Staff extremely friendly and make your stay very comfortable. Link to Cape Panwa is perfect and we enjoyed facilities at both the places. The food is quite expensive but really good but there are cheaper paces around, as well as a night market and massage near the hotel. If you want crazy party, avoid this place. But for a relaxing, romantic, perfect holiday with your own private beach and beautiful fish in the sea (Cape Panwa) this is the place to go. Thanks to all Kantary Bay staff. From receptionists to waiters to Shuttle Bus driver... thanks for all the smiles and support.

We enjoyed our stay, very nice Apart-Hotel...
We enjoyed our stay, very nice Apart-Hotel with a lot of leisure options. The only thing: It would be even better it there were not so many Russians (noisy, cannot behave)

My Husband and I stayed at the...
My Husband and I stayed at the Kantary (used to be called the Bay View) In March 2007 for three nights and loved it. We returned here in September 2008 and were delighted to have been given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite - we also had the bonus of having breakfast at the Panwe hotel which was an upgrade to the Kantary breakfast. We find that there is not a great deal to do in this area and this is why we normally stay for about three nights and then move on we would return to the Kantary - its lovely !!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kantary Bay. It was definately 'service with a smile', all staff including restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept very clean and were a good size where you didn't feel cramped. I would have liked to see a microwave in the room just in case, although I believe one was available on request. Not the place for anyone who wants to be in the heart of the action, but if you want a quiet place to relax, this is it. The availability of the facilities in the sister hotel were a great bonus.
