We were greeted warmly by the hotel staff. At first the room we were given was at the 4th floor, but because I remembered the reviews about the noise from the road, club/pub downstairs which I've read on this website, I asked to change to a room on a higher floor. So we got one on the 8th floor.
The room is spacious & clean. The view from our balcony was the park across the road which was nice. However, as our room is so happen to be just under the restaurant on the 9th floor, you can hear the staff walking or people dragging their chairs when they sit down. But this was in the daytime, so it would not be an issue unless you're planning to stay in the hotel during the day.
The Ben Thanh Market is within walking distance and we had our dinner there too. They have delicious street/hawker style food which is freshly cooked & reasonably priced.
We would probably stay there again if we visit HCMC again.

Great location. The lift needs some work, it was often quicker to walk from top floor to bottom than wait for the tiny lift.
Sevice was great. We were given one floor away from the top floor with a huge balcony. We were happy with the room until we heard the very loud and constant scraping of chairs above us... the restaurant. However, we asked for a room change and was given one very quickly. Just a warning...

Stayed at the Liberty 4 over the new year period. The hotel is a good tourist class hotel with clean comfortable rooms. What really makes this hotel is the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaners were friendly, helpful and happy. They made our stay very memorable and we would definitely stay there again.

This was our first hotel on our...
This was our first hotel on our trip, i didnt realise how noisy veitnam was with all the motorbikes. The hotel was opposite the park and we had a balcony which was good as we had a view. Breackfast was on the top floor which was also nice as you could enjoy the scenery of Ho Chi Min. The only disappointment was our safe would not open and we had to call security, nothing was missing as we only left our video camra but we felt a little unsecure. Otherwise it was central and close to the main big market.
