Very convenient in terms of location. Walking distant (~7mins) to Ben Thanh Market & 3mins walk to Backpackers area. As the hotel is located at the main road, the noise of the motorcycles horn is extremely LOUD. For light-sleeper, advise to bring ear-plug or ear-piece for sleeping. The room is too dim at night, thus reading is not possible, but very romantic lah. The lift access to rooms is located at the external, therefore security is not really good. The hotel has guard before the lift entrance but very slagged. Breakfast spread is thumbs down. If you just want to fill up your stomach, then is ok. For 1st timer, this hotel is ok as the receiptionist speaks good English & can direct you the way. Most taxi drivers also knows this hotel.

The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful although sometimes their knowledge of English was less than desirable.
The room provided was what we were expecting and was clean.
The breakfast area I think requires more lighting as most of the time it was hard to make out what was available for breakfast.
Overall, the hotel provided a clean and reasonable room for the price and is a short walk to the Benh Thanh markets and close to the tour agencies.

a very cheap hotel that same as 5 star rating services.the staff are very helpful. the only problem was never speak english too fast.speak slow and steady so they will understand what you are saying.if u need day tour or open bus ticket to other part of vietnam.they can make reservation to you.this hotel is very convenien to walk around the city.. i enjoy my stay here. breakfast in this restaurant just so so .i think better go to have a breakfast from PHO 2000. not far from this hotel.ENJOY UR STAY....

Good location, and overall value, this hotel had all that was needed to have a nice visit in Saigon.
Walking distance to Ben Tanh markets.
Clean rooms and helpful staff made the Dai Nam a good choice, however, the food in the restaurant, was not as good as, you can get within walking distance of the hotel, breakfast was also average, but still good value.
No problems with check in/out, all charges easily settled as all charges well documented in detailed computer records.
Asiarooms is the way to go in booking, better than the walk in rate, and no hassles with the voucher.
Excellent. We enjoyed 3 comfortable nights.
