The Howard Park Plaza is in a great location and I feel is a very reasonable price for the product offered. The rooms and hotel has the foundations of a good four star hotel and the breakfast is always great.
It is well suited for those people who want more than budget, good quality at a good price.

| "The location was perfect for what we wanted to see, The Taj Mahal. It is just about 15 minutes walk (slow pace) away. The hotel was very clean and there was always someone cleaning which was reassuring. The swimming pool was alway quiet, clean and relaxing - never crowded or unpleasant. All the staff were polite and friendly - the restaurant and housekeeping staff being outstanding, almost too keen to serve. The food was very good - good International variety catering to a wide range of tastes. Indian dishes were outstanding, fresh, not greasy. It was also great to have choice between a good buffet and a la carte menu. Staff were willing to vary meals to suit guests taste. Very impressed. If I visited again I would definitely stay here. We were sorry to leave" |

| "The place was not as nice as I expected for the cost. It needs painting and updating. The doorman was nice, but the people at the front desk were not very helpful at all and seemed to be bothered whenever I asked them a question. When a cab driver who thought I was going with him found out that I had a different driver, he came in and was shouting at me in the lobby. I appealed to the people at the front desk for help and they just laughed and watched as the man jumped in his car and followed us down the road. Later, they seemed to take advantage of the fact that I was frightened by the incident and the hotel charged me 50 US dollars for their own driver to take me the very short distance to the train station. I was glad to leave and would never go back." |
