| "We had quite a pleasant stay at the Phoenix Park Inn Resort. The room was large and the service was very good and friendly. Free internet downstairs was a major plus. However, the bathroom was not nice (but you have to remember that this is, after all, India!), mineral water wasn't free of charge (for brushing your teeth) and it was at least a 7-8 minutes walk to the beach (which was a lot worse than in South Goa). Nearby there were many restaurants and John's Boat Tours, towels were changed every day, the room was generally clean and the poolside had a nice atmosphere, even though the pool itself was small. Guests were mostly English. Breakfast was very average. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but please remember that this is India and do not try to compare it to European standards!" |

| "One of the two rooms we booked smelt a bit damp. Both rooms had no balcony which was disappointing (try to request this when booking). Generally room size and cleanliness of rooms was good. Good sized swimming pool.
Breakfast is below average, with lack of choice if arriving late, poor service and hygene standards. With minor improvements this could become a very good hotel." |
