We had a very enjoyable stay at the Pal Haveli, right from being met at the train station to the lift we were given back there. The location could not be bettered - right in the heart of town with great views from the roof terraces. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A fascinating building in itself, the only downside would be for people with limited mobility as there are steep stairs to climb to the rooms, restaurant and roof terraces. We would certainly choose to stay there again when we return to Jodphur.

| "We were very oleased to be collected by Pal Haveli`s driver from the station! The hotel is in a great location and we used their reccomended tuk tuk driver Habib for the days sight seeing...he was excellent!!
The best though was the room, suite....and the restaurant which served some of the best food we had had in India.
The fort is a must, get the audio guide!!
All in a all a great stay!!

| "The Pal Haveli is styled after the fort here, huge blocks of stone, BIG steps, massive archways, and a dirt courtyard. It is very “sturdy” rather than "airy". The restaurant is on the rooftop and we must first go down then up and up the massive steps. Whew! The location is great with the Fort just above the courtyard and the Clock Tower/market right outside the door. Won the "best laundry service" of our trip to India." |
