5/5  Posted by MRS. VARDHAN, Madhur, India in January 2008
"Our stay was very comfortable, with excellent service provided by the efficient staff. We could not fault the hotel and would be happy to go back again."

"No good buffet food"
3/5  Posted by MR. JACKSON, Michael, United Kingdom in February 2007
"The room was good but spoilt by the missing safety deposit box. Our adjoining friends room had one but we were told that their room was a superior room; which of course it wasn't. The buffet restaurant was more expensive than the main a la carte restaurant. The BAR staff were not friendly enough and one of the pool balls was missing.Drinks were far to expensive and the bar closing at 11pm was too early for this class of hotel. The reception staff were first class as were the doormen, porters etc., The room attendants were a little over zealous but friendly. There appeared to be lots of tour parties coming and going and the noise from the French guests in the corridors very early in the morning was inconvenient. Worse were the manners of the Japanese guests which is not usual; they made need to be careful which tour operator they use if the Taj wants to keep it's more diserning independant traveller."
