| "The location itself is beautiful, but the tedious 2 hour ride from the airport is a bit of a bother. Also quite a lot of crows in the gardens.
The cuisine is excellent for those travellers willing to be a bit adventurous, i.e. those interested in trying the local food. Every day the menu changes. Never realised so many different delicious curry variations exist!
Also pleasant was the daily change of local entertainment.
The Ayurvedic Spa was nice too, but provided more of a wellness approach, than a very serious venture into ayurvedic treatment. Probably a good start for people trying out ayurvedic treatment for the first time. Overall a recommendable choice for couples and people searching for the slow life. Most impressive was the sheer friendliness of the local people. On an average even better than in Bali!" |

| "Best place I stayed during my vacation in India.
Very scenic place to stay. The private open-air pool in the room was excellent. A very charming resort where you can forget about your day to day life. I would highly recommend spending a night in one of the resort's house boats. A memorable experience." |

| "Right on the lake which is wonderful, we booked a pool villa and they had double booked us. There was work being carried out on the resort (drilling close to 12pm) and some villas were next to this which wasn't good. Only 2 restaurants, one being buffet, the other fish - both excellent but if staying for longer than 3 nights would be good to have an a la carte option." |
