The Ramada Palm Grove Hotel was quite nice. I stayed there alone and felt quite safe as a woman. The reception staff knew who I was when I walked in.
They were quite professional but friendly and showed me to my room. The floors can only be reached by an elevator that only works with key card access no matter what floor you go to.The room was a beautiful and comfortable.The bedroom had a very comfortable bed (and believe me, I am quite picky about that) with perfect pillows.
I could not hear any noise anywhere but I suppose that could have been due to the fact that it was a corner room.
I thought the food was excellent. Breakfast the next morning at the restaurant was wonderful though and the service impeccable.
It's a matter of taste but for the service, safety and bedding, it is worth a stay here.
I was very pleased with everyone who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.

The room was very clean and flash, and great value for money, we wish we could have stayed longer.

| "Checking in was auful was travelling with 2 small children and they moved me around from room to room on 3 occasions. Also when I did finally arrive in my room there was not enough space for a third single bed also on arrival the room had not been properly clean and was left with sharp pins from the guests before which would have been extremely dangerous had my children seen them first. Have got a picture of this. Made a complaint to the hotel manager who was not of help whatsoever asked him to explain the reasoning and asked what he could offer me and he was not helpful - travelling with young children is difficult but having to have these problems with a good rating hotel is totally unacceptable. They have offered me no compensation for the inconvenience. Also they locked off all the emergency door exists and only after complaints from other guests did they open them again, lift was limited to 1 serving all the floors. " |

| "I would not recomend anyone to stay in this hotel on a Saturday night! There is only one bar in the hotel and since April 2005 this is taken over on a Saturday night for a disco. This would not be a real problem if it were not for the fact that this continues until 0330 and the noise from it can still be heard on the top (4th) floor! Find somewhere else for your weekend stay in Mumbai!" |

| "Lovely hotel. Clean linen, lovely high ceilings, very friendly staff and good breakfasts. Ambience excellent and unusual for a central Mumbai hotel - the staff genuinely care about whether you are having a good time and what you think of their hotel. I would have given this 5 stars. I liked the hotel so much I would definitely stay there again, no matter come what may!!" |

| "When in Mumbai I will now stay no-where else. The rooms were of good size and modern furnishings.Great staff, friendly breakfast room and you feel like your at home, not in a hotel. Keep it up.
