"I think everything is ok! But the room is quite small for us. "

"Of course, the main difficulty is that a large hotel cannot give personal friendly service so easily as a small hotel. But you get what you pay for! One small problem in the restaurant is that the staff are often very busy and walking fast towards their next task. I often found I was in danger of being "

"Great hotel. "

"The view from the bedroom was stunning and the room service staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. The bathroom was rather small and it did not have a walk in shower which is normally standard in this class of hotel. The breakfast room is very busy and when you arrive for breakfast no one takes the time to explain the service protocal. You are also asked to sign a chitty at breakfast even although the charge for breakfast is included in the room rate and the chitty states you should not sign if you have already paid. I queried this with the manager but he still insisted that it be signed. The staff in the business centre were most helpful. "

"One of the most luxury hotel in the world. We just regretted that we were not able to open the window, to breathe fresh air."

"lovely hotel overall rate 5"

"The Taj Palace is an absolutely gorgeous hotel, unbeatable for its Victorian opulence and style. We stayed in the heritage part and enjoyed the colonial atmosphere and hundreds of beautiful artworks scattered around the corridors and public spaces. The rooms were exceptional - comfortable and beautiful. But even more impressive than the facilities are the staff members: we encountered nothing but friendly, polite and extremely service oriented staff. While this is a fairly pricey hotel, particularly after 1st October when the high season starts, it's worth every penny."

"Unfortuantley, it was a business trip and therefore the dates were mandatory - therefore, i have stayed there in the end of august; resulting that the rooms were smelly and the air in the room was very moist. Furthermore, the butlers were very nice but when asking them for something, most of the time i had to make another phone call to remind them. Once the wakeup calls we asked for were not even arranged. But maybe you have more luck with the service. If you are a woman an travelling during the monsoon time becareful when walking up the stairs. Overall, it is a good hotel and the atmosphere is very nice especially on the terrace with the view of the swimming pool. "
