| "Lousy area in a Lousy city, but probably about par for the price. Not bad for an overnight stay. Restaurant was good. No big gripes." |

| "This hotel has decent deluxe and business class rooms which cost around 40 u.s. dollars a night.
the budget rooms are terrible, noisy and full of mosquitos. Right next to a building site if your on floors 1-3 you'll be woken up early everyday.
The management are unfriendly and as soon as i refused to buy travel tickets from their inflatedly priced travel office the staff stopped being friendly to me .
The manager actually admitted to me that they charge over the odds on the travel tickets although he offered me a cheaper rate because i knew what was going on . any other tour office can supply you with travel tickets for a lower price . be aware this hotel is not going to do you any favours." |

| "We booked one night on arrival and two nights at the end of our holiday. On arrival after an overnight flight, Ajanta had no rooms available and moved us to a sister hotel - Sita - which was awful. Dirty sheets, noisy room and primitive bathroom - on the main road. Naturally dreading our return, we were pleasantly surprised to find our rooms available and actually quite nice. Area is not great (some taxis from Connaught will not drop near hotel) and our room rate of £68 was ridiculously expensive. At about £25 a night, the hotel would have been perfectly adequate." |

| "We had a low budget room and as expected from other comments on here there were no windows not such a bad thing when you have just got off an overnight flight form London and want to adjust your sleep pattern, the room was quiet and had aircon, who needs windows when your sleeping.
Watch out for the persistent travel sales in the reception.

| "I booked a doubleroom for me and my friend from Switzerland. We were not allowed to stay in the same room because my friend still has got his indian passport but his has permanent residency in Switzerland since many years and he had got his swizz papers with him. This has never happened before and I will never return to Hotel Ajanta.

| "The Ajanta staff is really friendly, but be aware of booking a "standard room". This room is an absolute poor room with a bathroom which has no standard, dark and not cleaned. There was no window in the standard room! We graded up to the deluxe room and this is with a large marmor bathroom, minibar, cooler and a big bed. So take this for your stay!" |

| "Found the room over priced and dirty.
The Laudary service staff were very demading disturbing me at 7 am in the morning to say my washing was done and 3 times they came back to disturb me from my sleep, when I had explained that I would pick it up later.
