| "The first room I was placed in, the hot water system didn't work and the basin was blocked.
The second room I was placed in was better than the first as everything worked, but the hotel had a disco that didn't close till 12:30. The noise emanating from the disco penetrated the room. The bathroom had a mouldy smell.
After putting up with this for a few days, a requested a room change. I was placed in a room with a door that led to a partial balcony. This room had a bath in the connecting bathroom with an overhead shower. The shower was mostly blocked, and the basin hot water tap also streamed and required a lot of pressure to close.
Overall the staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff need to listen more carefully to foreigners needs and not assume. I guess If the hotel offered rooms at about $10 less than they do, I would say that it would be value for money.
The location of the hotel was terrific if you needed to catch a train early in the morning (or whenever) as it was less than a five minute walk from the New Delhi train station. Connaught Place was about a 10 to 15 minute walk away." |

| "The staff were nice but the cleanliness of the hotel left a lot to be desired. There were cockroaches in the dining area. I would not stay here again." |
