No way!

My girlfriend and i stayed here after trying to book another hotel which if we could not stay in would go elswhere. However after receiving and e-mail confirming our booking at Pooja Palace, we got there only to find we had actually been booked into Hotel Omni. This place was a nightmare the rooftop restaurant was on the roof, but not open top as promised to us by the rep. Then after generously tipping the room service, when it came to pay for the meal the man did not have change (only 38 rupees but still!) We were promised that reception would resolve. This didn;t happen until the last night and after my girlfriend launching a scathing attack into them (the 3rd and last night and read on to see why) The 2nd night after going out we fell asleep only to be woken by squeaking. Yes we discovered a tail hanging out of the air-con unit and we had rats in there. Nothing was done by the hotel apart from switching the A/C off at the mains as he couldn;t understand our rat impressions. We only had another night left and as we had travelled almost solidly for 2 weeks we decided to stick it out and ask for discount as the hot water wasn;t hot either. The last night all hell broke loose as they got quite aggressive about the payment - no discount and 3 men stood around you isn't friendly. The rats were back so we took photos and they finally moved us to another room. All in all i would avoid this place like the plague
