This must be the best hotel in India - everything about it is wonderful: the service (friendly staff and not at all stuck-up), the location and the surroundings (the rooms are beautiful, especially the suites). The food is also excellent. If I have a chance, I will go there again, absolutely!!

| "It was my horrible day of my life that i stayed at Janpath Hotel. When i arrived they showed me a singlr Bed room but i have requested Family bed. After almost arruging with reception they give a double bed room after almost 1/5 hours. As i will travelling frequently to india and next time i will never stay at Janpath and please who ever see my comments decide not to stay at Janpath its nothing but like a Govt. Hospital.

| "I stayed at the Janpath Hotel for one night at the end of my trip to India. Its location was great - walking distance to the National Museum, which is what I wanted. Coming from the United States, the Janpath seems more like a motel than a hotel. I appreciated the Hindustan Times newspaper that was left on my door. The bathroom was spacious, but a little tired looking." |

| "The Hotel Janpath is in such a way decadent, that the rooms give a filthy appearance, the bathrooms need repairs and modernisation, the furniture is old, the air-conditioning units in the room look are like pre-historic machines and the back windows show a depriment filth of the neighbourhood. The stars assigned to the Hotel are a joke, and the price is abusive for what one gets. The breakfast-buffet is a pity. The service is poor." |

| "My wife and I had the displeasure of being booked into the Hotel Janpath in December 2004. It was our first trip to India and had requested at least a 4* hotel, which apparently Janpath is. It is a poor excuse for a hotel. It will suit backpackers. After seeing the room, we promptly checked out, but were still charged for the room. We then checked in to the Raddisson and had a fantastic holiday." |
