| "A good, clean hotel near all facilities. The room we occupied was very spacious and impressive." |

| "We felt the hotel was dated and not very clean. The drains in the bathroom gave off a rather unpleasant smell. The decor was tired and dull. We stayed two nights just long enough for us to find somewhere else to stay. Just not for us. We wanted a relaxing place to stay on holiday not just a base for the evening. " |

| "We really enjoyed our two night stay. The Anandha is clean and comfortable.
We had a suite which included two bathrooms - one with shower and one with bath.
The service was good - the staff were very attentive. [Almost too attentive at times when the two of use were served two beers by five waiters!]
The only negative point for us was the loud music played for a couple of hours in the early morning. This was from outside the hotel, and we were not sure if it was a regular occurrence, or just a one off." |

| "We did not expect much from this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Although mostly full of local people (few tourists) they catered well potentially for couples and small families and it was nice that it was not a typical package hotel and a was a pretty standard Indian 3*.
The room was very large and well maintained and the bathhroom OK. Parking was a bit of a proble, but the cars were well guarded and the security staff moved cars around if you needed to get yours out.
It was Christmas and many of the meals provided were buffet, but there was a good choice of primarily Indian food plus a bit of international. The a la carte was good and inexpensive.
We would recommend this hotel to people who need a stop-over in Pondicherry - although a bit out it is quite easy to get into the centre and off to N or S ward destinations.
Please NOTE that we are happy to do a review as well of the our hotel Ramanshree Comforts in Mysoore (31/12 to 2/01) but I have inadvertently deleted the email." |
