| "The floating cottages are very tired and the scores represent the floating cottage; however, the land cottages are better and worth staying in. Service is good and the staff are very helpful but did get a little over bearing if it was quiet. The local beach is disgusting as is everything outside the resort-travel to kervala for a good beach. The floating restuatants in the backwaters are great and well worth visiting. Poovar needs to clean up it's act and think beyond the hotel grounds!" |

| "This was our 2nd trip to Poovar island resort and we are already planning our third. I cant fault anything. The food was top class and plentifull.If there is a particular dish that you would like, They will do their best to prepare it for you The staff were so helpfull, nothing was too much trouble, If its a relaxing holiday you're looking for I would definately recomend Poovar Island Resort." |

| "We had a wonderful holiday in beautiful surroundings and with great service. One of the highlights, on top of the views, the pool and the sun, was the food, which particularly varied, and interesting. The only improvements would be in greeting and information for new arrivals. We were left to find our own way round which lost us a day. Oh, and why is Stevens floating restaurant a secret?" |
