| "This hotel was the worst in my 3 weeks journey through India. In my room telepone did not work, TV was in very bad condition, some lamps did not work, power outlets are worn out, in the bathroom were many mould stains and it looked dirty, water tap broken, no hot water at all. Housekeeping could not fix any of the problems and declined my request for a different room - in spite of the hotel seemed to be pretty empty. After increasing loudness and agressivity of my demand, I was finally given another room, however, there was still a big problem with the hot water. Called housekeeping again, they said I have to patient and keep hot water running for a while. When keeping the water running for at least 15 minutes, the so called hot water was about 5 degree warmer than the cold water, no improvement when keeping it running for 30 minutes. Furthermore, there was a lot of noise in the hotel during the night, the room service people do not speak English and the hotel does not provide any Internet access. Best part of the hotel is the restaurant which provides friendly service and good quality of breakfast and dinner. Location is very good: near a large Park and in 15 minutes walking distance to the City Palace of Udaipur. The Hotel uses the label and logo of Quality Inn - when I checked the website of this hotel chain, I found that this hotel is not listed there - obviously for good reasons! I had to pay 2000 INR per night - in my opinion INR 600 would be a fair price for this sort of room. I do highly recommend that you delete this hotel from your catalog." |
