"wondefull place to stay! In front of the sea, beautiful pool, magnific garden, beautiful and confortable rooms, good breakfast with real fruit juices. The bathroom may be more modern but very clean. The walk to town is made by a road surrounded by palms. "

"Great location for Candidasa- easy walk into town (or use a scooter if lazy)- the location means it's quiet and secluded for the rest of the stay- and try snorkelling out the front- and head towards town- good corals around the breakwaters. Really good location if you want to go scuba diving on the near by island- even saw a Mola Mola (sunfish)"

"My wife and I pre booked our trip and booked only 2 nights at Puri Bagus Hotel while on our way to Amed. What a wonderful surprise we had. We were totally taken with the hotel. The setting was perfect - right on the beach with a fantastic view. The resort was itself very impressive with beautiful buildings and lovely landscaped gardens which were merticulisly maintained. The staff were friendly and helful and enjoyed the opportunity to chat when we desired. It was a lovely shaded short walk into the main street with plenty of great restaurants.There were local sailing boats sitting on the sand right in front of the resort to take you on a short sail around the interesting rock formations. Each day a plentiful buffet breakfast was supplied with delicious fresh fruit as well as cooked food.
The bungalow room was perfect with very quiet air conditioning and an open bathroom. Our only regret was that we didn't book to stay longer. "

"Beach is fine for swimming during low tide, perfect sunset view from verandas. Snorkiling only off the rocks and quite choppy, better drive off to Blue Lagoon. Nice to rent a car when you stay there."
