When English Egyptologist & interior designer Diana von Cranach bought a barren piece of beachfront land in Pemuteran, an unknown fishing village on Bali’s northwest coast, 3 ½ hours from Denpasar airport in 1987, her dream was to build a tiny & very personal, laid-back luxury resort. Puri Ganesha opened in 1997 and since then Diana, together with her Balinese husband Gusti and their Dalmatian dogs offer a perfect tropical holiday destination that is beautiful, welcoming, and lovingly cared for.
