"The fact that the hotel is situated very close to the centre of action really is a plus. Near access to shops, boutiques, and the beach is very convenient. I love the setting of the rooms surrounding the pool, looks very nice and inviting. We stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the hospitality and the friendly staff. Cable tv a plus, and a mini fridge which is ok. Quite cozy at night. "

"Hotel lost my reservation and I was initially forced to make an additional payment for the 1st night seeing as it was already too late to go to another hotel. Was able to clear up this 'mess' in the end without incurring any additional costs on top of my original payments. Shower area was the most disappointing part of the room as the water pressure wasn't sufficient. Knobs for hot/cold water requires lots of tuning during showers. Pool couldn't be used at all since the on-going hotel renovations made it a hazard. Location is good though. About 10 minutes walk to the beach and all night spots. No worries about the night scene invading your privacy. Service was excellent. Lots of helpful information provided by front desk clerks."

"Close to Water Bom fun park - 100 metre walk. Close to shops, restaurants, a very convenient location with friendly staff. Driver and air conditioned 7 seat van will take you around to Volcano, monkey park, temples etc for 8 hours cost 320000inr (AUD40 - $5per hour which included fuel great value!)John Morrison Brisbane"

"I was given a corner room with no view at all, no hot water, no coffee or tea. The surrounding of the swimming pool was filthy. At night or early hours, you can hear other guest slaming their room doors. Very noisy!!! Behind the hotel is a cemetry;scary & eerie feeling when I discovered it! I will definitely not stay this hotel again. Kim"

"I stayed in Karthi Hotel from 2-6 Oct 07. I booked into a standard room, which was clean but with no wardrobe and a chair. All electrical equipment in the room, such as the air conditioning unit and hot water shower were functioning good. The daily breakfast served was a choice of American or local fare. As I stayed here for more than three nights, the airport transfer to and from the hotel, was complimentary. Most importantly,is, its strategic location which is within walking distance to Kuta Square, Discovery Mall, Legian Street and Waterbom. The food in the hotel restaurant is reasonably priced as compared to other eateries nearby. The hotel staffers in the front desk were courteous and helpful. Overall, it's value for money and certainly would stay here again during the off-peak season."
