Would I stay at this location
again:

Most likely
Service was very good. Everyone was friendly & helpful. Room was good. Slight 'flooding' in one corner near the window when it rained very heavily one day but dried up when I came back. No big problem. Bathtub and toilet was wet a lot becos of their location plus heavy rain. There were lots of ants too (becos' of the plants?). The pregnant waitress at the restaurant was very nice and friendly. But restaurant cloth serviettes/table cloths were often 'dirty'-looking. On the whole, enjoyed my stay and the service. Thank you!

"Old hotel, aprx. 2 km from Ubud. Rooms are ok in size but not hairdrier Also no internet, no restaurant, no spa, very poor breakfast, awful and overpriced food if you order room service "

"They gave us a free upgrade to deluxe pavillion. The pavillion is big with a nice daybed outside the pavillion to sit down and admire the greenery. The only thing is the room has full glass windows throughout so curtains have to closed well so that people can't see you. However, given only 10 pavillions, there is lots of privacy at this hotel. There is also a nice pool and jacuzzi at the back of the hotel. Practically no one swims there so it feels as if you own the whole place. very nice and cosy. Breakfast is nice and the staff are very accomodating. They provide free shuttle to and fro ubud market at anytime you want but before 6pm. The hotel location is fine, walking distance to mozaic restaurant (which is a 'must try' and bali botannica (good spa at cheap price). Overall, the stay is fantastic and it would be good if they have DVD players in the room too with the TV."

"Overall it was a pleasant experience. Staff was difficult to find at times."

"The service was undeniably the best I have experienced so far in the hotels I have stayed. The staff were extremely responsive on your queries and they will even go that extra step to make sure you are satisifed. However, the location was not ideal for tour packages. Additional transportation charges were unbelievably high and the travel not the most comfortable given the long travelling time. Be prepared to burn your pocket if you intend to sign up for day tours from there. "
