Would I stay at this location
again:

Probably not
We walked the beach and visited other neighbouring hotels. In contrast, the Bali Tropic had fewer facilities and was clearly the poor neighbour. On the other hand, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the major problems was the abundance of mosquitos. The hotel needs to spray on a more regular basis.

"We stayed at Bali Tropic Resort from Feb 5-10, 2008 and found the room to be generally acceptable in size, cleanliness but he general upkeep of the public facilities were somewhat lacking. "

"nice resort. we really enjoyed our stay there. should hv spent more days. the resort even organised some activites near the pool area. breakfast spread is quite good. beach looks not as clean as the pic. but still we really enjoyed our stay there. will go back again."

"The Hotel was excellent. We got a free upgrade to the Royal Suite which was very nice. The Hotel has a wonderful pool which the kids loved. Also 2 restaurants and most nights there was out doors buffet by the beach with evening entertainment. Lots of water sports on the beach - paragliding, jetskis, banana boat etc etc. The only dissapointment was the hotel does not do a free bus service to the airport so we had to take 2 taxis to the airport (due to 6 of us on the party with luggage) when they had a mini bus at the hotel which could have picked us up and taken us back to the airport. Most vistors were 'all inclusive' and we had the option to pay the $US35 per day per person but decided against it as we ate out at the many excellent restaurants in Nusa Dua."

"The staff are all very friendly and the setting is beautiful. You can spend a day in your room without feeling like youve wasted a day (the huge bath is great, even though it takes a while to fill!). If you felt like it, you wouldnt really have to leave the resort for the majority of your stay. Even though there is no shop on the resort, there is a "Circle K" just over the road and a great little market just down the road. The food in the restaurants on site is very nice but if you fancy change, there are some great restaurants in Nusadua which is a short taxi ride away. After a month of staying in budget hostels and hotels, it was a little bit of luxury and I would deffinately chose to stay there, if I were lucky enough to visit Bali again. "

"The room was very nice and big but that was it. While arriving there we already had the feeling to come to an all inclusive place including the accoring guests. Checking prodecure was a lot of trouble but not convenient. There was no Bali-Feeling at all. We never had dinner at the hotel and went to outside places, but there is no a lot close to hotel (one nice restaurant at the beach). The beach could not be recommended. During low tide there is no beach. During high tide there are banana boats, parasailers and all the other noise ... "
