Good location for a great price. Close to most things on Jalan Legian and not far to the beach. Late night walks back to hotel could disturb some people (along a dark road) but I never encountered any problems.
If you want air conditioning be aware that the rooms have air con units but mine did not work at any stage during my week there. There is no wireless internet or dial up from the room. The only internet access is via a very slow dial up hotel computer. On the positive side it was a new computer and keyboard, unlike many of the local web bureaus. The bathrooms were ok...water pressure was a bit dodgy though.
The pool looked good but I never used it. Too many loud budget yobbo travellers at the pool bar to make it a worthwhile experience for me. But there are plenty of good bars close by.
For the price this is a good little hotel. The front office people were friendly but did not speak much english. The service at breakfast was good as was the local transport possibilities.
I'd stay there again. As they say....you get what you pay for.

| "We have stayed at the Camplung Mas before so we alreay knew what it was like. The hotel does need some decorating, but the staff more than made up for that. The pool side bar with 24hours service was lovely. For the money we paid we had absolutely a wonderful time there. Even our friends who were booked into the 5 star accomadation on the island wished that they were staying there because of the wonderful atmosphere. They were all getting in taxi's and joining us for the day. " |

| "I thought that the service at the hotel was terrible. The staff were not incredibly helpful
My room did not have a lock on the balcony door and on the second day the door lock was broken on my front door.
I wouldnt stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it. " |

| "I've chosen this hotel because they advertised it having snooker table. It was the main reason as I wanted to learn playing snooker. It had not snooker, just pool. Snooker is not available at Bali. Nowhere.
It's a little bit expensive and a bit far from the beach. Breakfast is not really good.
But anyway I really enjoyed staing in this hotel. Widespread territory, many bungalows each one has it's own private yard. What is very important - you do not see other guests and you do not hear any noise from the street.
What was bad - when I wanted to prolong my stay at this hotel they didnot offer me the same price as I had via AsiaRooms. They said that all standard rooms were booked off and only de-luxe or something alike were still available. So instead of paying 70000 extra I prefered to move to the next door hotel - cheaper, with better breakfast but without that great feeling of secluded place like Champlung Mas." |

| "We spent two nights here. I found the personnel very caring, the area quite enjoyable. The nights were quiet and the beach a short walk away." |
