Absolutely!
Cendana Resort was conveniently located, clean and pleasant. The rooms were large, and the verandah was a nice feature. We particularly enjoyed the spa, the pool and the lovely breakfast setting.

"Well located hotel on Monkey Forest Road. Rooms tradional if you like - with dated bathrooms. Breakfast is included but not recommended - much better to head out. Staff were friendly and attentive. "

"Cendana is a pleasant place to stay with the top selling points being its location- just walk out of the resort and rows and rows of shops are available for you to shop to your heart's content- and the refreshing saltwater edgeless pool which has a wonderful view of the padi fields. The resort serves a decent spread of both local and continental breakfast with abundant fresh local fruits which are a great way to start your day. If gourmet food is what you have in mind, Lamak, which is just outside the resort is a must-try for its international gourmet spread of fusion food. Overall, Cendana is a great place to stay with warm and friendly service. (Look out for an elderly garderner with a warm smile)"

"Cendana really fascinated me upon my arrival even it was nearly 7 pm .The 2 storey antique - look hotel amidst the paddy field and spacious bathroom are the credit ! wise location very near to shops and restaurants ,I strongly recommend this hotel for those who indulge transquility yet desire conveniences. They even also packed my breakfast and sent them to my room at 4.30 am for us to rush to the airport. Thanks all the staff there."

"It's a basic, non-frill kind of accommodation option with great location situated at the central Ubud. Overall experience was above average. Like the Balinese-style deco for the room but a bit disappointed with the room size. Toilet clealiness could be improved further. Breakfast was above average (though food served during our stay was the same), like the freshly prepared fruit juices. Room view facing paddy field was great. In conclusion, Cendana Resorts is value for money."

"As I sit at my computer after returning from a week in Bali, I find myself wishing I were still at Cendana Resort in Ubud. I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was from start to finish. Check-in was very simple. It happened to be raining when I arrived so the staff was ready with umbrellas to walk me to my room. The rooms are very charming. The wooden, decorated entrance to the rooms was simply amazing. Each room had a balcony with a small table and a few chairs to enjoy the breeze - day or night. I stayed in a standard room with no frills, but at I really didn't need any frills at Cendana. The staff at Cendana was incredibly helpful. They were always willing to help in any way they could from helping book getaways to the free shuttle to wherever I needed to go whether to the market or to a local restaurant. All help was delivered with smiles! The hotel is a quite peaceful retreat in a central location. Cendana nestled next to a rice paddy. It was fun watching the ducks as they waded through the rice paddies as I lounged in the pool. The area is so quiet it was hard to believe that we were actually right on Monkey Forest Road. The spa was a little on the expensive side for the Ubud area. I found another spa right next door that offered the same services for a better price. I can't wait for my next chance to go to Ubud and Cendana Resort! "
