"Stuning place, just a pitty they made absolutely no effort in doing just something "small" for honey moon couples like the Oberoi did where we also stayed !"

"We enjoyed our stay tremendously as the level of service was high and the hotel had a complimentary set of wellness programmes such as yoga and trekking. The only drawback is that is that you will have to hire a driver to fetch you to and fro from Ubud Centre (15mins away). One of us was also badly bitten by sandflies which was no fault of the hotel since the location is right next to the rainforest. However, the hotel was kind enough to provide free medication and a consulation with a nurse. We would highly recommend this location to couples and retirees."

"This is one of the most enjoyable hotel stays my husband and I have ever had. The cliffside setting against the backdrop of the jungle and Ayung river is spectacular, and we loved trekking down the cliffs to explore the natural spring pool and watch the white water rafters go by. We had a terrace room, which felt a little small at times, so next time we will definitely go for a villa. The cliffside infinity pool that we had to share with only 3 other rooms was spectacular! But the hilly terrain is not for the faint-of-heart, although the staff was very good about giving rides all over the property on golf carts."

"Time stopped when I checked in and every minute is spent in bliss and peace. The grounds are enchanting and room is very beautiful. It is indeed a retreat resort and you can get to enjoy the vast garden and trail walks without bumping into another guest. But do slap on the insect repellent liek they advise, unless you like to feed the sand flies while walking the river banks of the Ayung. maybe it is the low season. And service at the resturant is excellent. However the personal assistant at the residence can be more observant like serving water at the pool side. Maybe the room is so close and the drinking water is forever being replenished, they expect the guests to take themselves? And would be good if they have a no kids policy to keep the peace. Nevertheless, worth the premium they charge and return."

"Great spot, very secluded and private. Beautiful grounds and wonderful service. Not cheap but a very good value compared with other five star properties in the area. Will definitely return."
