Would I stay at this location
again:

No way!
Staff at Enjung Beji were friendly and helpful, and rooms are very spacious, and the premises have some lovely gardens. However, the rooms and other facilities all have a pretty run-down look, the cleaning could be better, and we couldn't get any hot water (only lukewarm) in our bathroom. The breakfast was probably the worst I have had in a hotel anywhere close to this price range, and the tablecloths hadn't been cleaned anytime recently. Management should fix these problems and take advantage of the very nice setting where the hotel is located.

"I stayed with my husband at Enjung Beji for one night (on our honeymoon) so that we could be near Lake Bratan and the temple. This is a budget hotel, not a resort as it claims. The rooms are clean but quite small (at least the Superior II, which we stayed in). The staff are not very knowledgeable about *anything* going on in the area. When we asked the staff about activities we could participate in, they just shrugged. When we asked for information about the Pura Ulun Danu temple or the town, they couldn't tell us anything, not even how to find a guide. When we asked about a *huge* ceremony that was going on at the temple when we were there, they didn't know what it was. I don't believe it was just a language barrier, I think the staff truly did not know anything about the surrounding area, the temple, or really much of anything useful. The restaurant attached to the hotel gave a decent breakfast, but the food we had for dinner in the evening was really quite bad. I ordered the fish and it was literally difficult to chew. My husband ordered the spaghetti and it was gross. The one saving thing about this hotel is the location. It is literally a one-minute walk from the temple and therefore a perfect post if you want to get up early and visit before all the tourists come. It's very convenient for seeing the temple, the lake and the botanical gardens in Candikuning. However, the poor service and unremarkable room make this hotel recommended only for people who need a cheap place to crash near Bedugul."

"The location of the superior rooms is superb and it is wonderful to be able to walk about 100 metres to one of Bali's most famous temples (featured on the blue 50,000Rp note). However the hotel seems down at heel, and the staff look as if they are only going through the motions. There is none of the wonderful attention to beauty and detail that makes Bali so wonderful. The facilities are really scant, and even a request for an umbrella in the pelting rain was greeted with a blank look. The breakfast was less than mediocre. All this would be acceptable at a backpackers price, but at almost $70 a night it was very poor quality. If you do stay there, pack ear plugs, as the frogs outside the window are really loud at night "

"Very bad where you are very bad received. You must avoid to stay when you are young people because they give you the worst room."
