I stayed there for 2 nites from 8 - 10 March 2008 and the room is absolutely big, with matching bathroom! Even though we ask for a standard room, we were given a room with 1 king size bed and 2 double deck bed in the corner. The downside is the temperature for the heater is not working well, and I have to bath in lukewarm water instead of heated water. But I realised it might be a common problem across Bali cos my other 4 hotels stayed during the next few days also suffered the same! The next thing is about lock, it still works in the same traditional method of key lock, so we have to lock the door with the key even after we entered the room. Else the location is fine, about 5 min walk to Discovery Shopping Centre. Breakfast is buffet style with simple yet sumptuos spread. I wouldn't mind going back to stay again for a short trip!

| "This hotel is up to my expectation with the exception of the following :-
I stayed there for 2 nights but I changed hotel after being told there was no more rooms available for extending my stays there. However, after checking out, my local Bali friend called the hotel again and the receptionist informed us that there was room!! The receptionist had taken a long long long times for checking the rooms availability. We were so fed up and thus, had decided to move into another hotel. (we were being told there is no more room available before checking out). The ' front office' operational system needs to be improved!!!
There was one time when I requested a piece of paper from the receptionist but she was so reluctant to give. She then hardly put the paper on the table for me!!! The staff needs self improvement.
Other than the above mentioned shortcomings, this hotel is recommended. We still need to walk for some distance before reaching the Kuta beach. " |

| "Bali is probably past its prime, but if you must come, stay someplace reasonable. This hotel is good value. Not the best location, but easily accessible and transportation in town is cheap. Better beaches are found on the north shore anyway. We found the staff helpful and friendly, and the facilities clean and plenty spacious. The dining room has a decent menu with an airy feel." |
