| "We stayed here for one week and were REALLY disappointed. This is a five star hotel, but to me it was more like a 3 star. The hotel is old and in my opinion very run down. The room was not clean, we had several problems with the light and TV in our room. We called the reception several times before someone finally came up to the room and fixed it! It felt like the staff were nice because they had to, it was not genuine at all. Everytime we came to the reception we felt as if we were a burden(absolutely not ok in a five star hotel)We stayed in different hotels during our trip to Asia, both one star and five star, and this was by far the worst. I would never go back here. The pool area was also really boring and not cosy at all, I thought that in a good hotel at least they would try to make it look nice...The SPA was also a disappointment, we had been to SPAs in Java and it is impossible to compare with this, noisy, unwelcoming SPA.It was just by the pool and there were people outside the "treatment" room talking loudly, tour groups etc..I did not feel like I had a calm SPA experience. It was more stressing than relaxing. The breakfast was also poor, there was a lot to choose from but again, I had much higher expectations on a five star hotel.
We would definitely book via Asiarooms.com again, all the other hotels were great, but we wouold never go back to this hotel. I think someone should review this hotel and give it the status it really deserves, a three star hotel(we shuold also pay like for a three star then people would not get disappointed). Our holiday overall was great and I would definitely recommend Asiarooms to all my friends!" |

| "Overall my wife an I love the hotel. The only drawback is that the air conditioning in our room did not work very well as it was rather warm at night. We like beach and the location of the hotel as it is very strategic. Not too hectic and noisy like Kuta. Perfect for relaxation. " |

| "We stayed at this hotel for 8 days (4 adults 2 children 2 rooms). We found the service to be friendly and efficient. The room overlooked the sea and was cleaned every day. Pool facilities were available and the beach, which was just outside the hotel, was beautiful. Wireless Internet facilites were available which was a bonus although the connection was a little slow and expensive. Food was excellent. The overall feeling was that the staff were attendant to the guests needs to make their stay a pleasant and comfortable one.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

| "A very enjoyable week.Great place to chill and relax.Staff are very friendly and helpful. For a hotel this size I was surprised to find they did not have a fitness centre. A shuttle bus going to and from Kuta daily would be great. I would probably stay here again." |

| "It was our 12th visit to this hotel.
Generally this hotel is a little run down, the cottage desparate need of renovating and cleaning.
We love the location, the friendly staff and the breakfast buffet.
Tea/coffee making facilities in the room." |

| "Service staff at hotel lack professional training found in other hotels. I requested for an extra key to my room and they informed me that they could not provide me with the key although I was willing to pay for the key. They were unable to answer my questions and kept sending me to others. I'm definitely not impressed with the service. The towels in the bathroom seem old and frayed. " |

| "This was our third time at the Grand Bali Beach. We love the location, the staff, the facilities, but this time we found that the garden rooms were a little run down, in need of a lick of paint and perhaps some pictures on the wall.
The toilet seat was disgusting... could I suggest a replacement!" |

| "The lobby is fantastic.Public rooms very good, breakfast excellent.Lots of stained carpets in corridors.Sea facing room quite nice, bathroom needed refurbishing,no chairs or tables on balcony.Pool area quite good, very little shade,no unbrellas next to the few sunbeds.Nearby beach good, lots of nearby resteraunts which were mostly empty.Staff fairly friendly.Generally this hotel is a little run down and not so good as some others in Sanur. Not much going on in this area." |
