we stayed 2 nights in what they call a "deluxe room", the furniture were all broken, the A/C didn't work well and the room was absolutly charmless! The second day, we went to the beach from 10 am untill 2pm (and we put the sign "please make up the room") and when we got back, the room was still unmade and when they finally did it in the afternoon, they took all the towells (that we asked to keep) and didn't give us any new one!!! Very nice when you start to take a shower...
Moreover, we went to have a massage at the spa and the towels that were on the massage table were not changed between 2 clients...
We also had the plesure to be just near the place were all the staff met for their break to chat and laugh early in the morning (in the corridor) and some breakfast treys that were left outside the doors to be taken stayed their until after midnight..
All in all, I wouldn't recommand this hotel to anyone!!

"Wonderful Hotel, rooms nice and clean, aircon worked a treat, 3 large pools to choose from. Hotel was fully booked whilst there but was still nice a quite. Bathrooms maybe need an upgrade but are still clean. We had 5 rooms booked (large group) and no-one had any issues."

"We have stayed at Jayakarta a number of times now and find the location and cost very suitable for us. It is a large hotel and when it is full during school holidays etc it can be very noisy and has a feeling of overcrowding. The breakfast's are great as well as the staff. Would recommend it for the budget traveller."

"The Jayakarta Hotel was very disappointing. We booked an apartment that was in an annex away from the main hotel. The rooms were very old and dingy with no views whatsoever. We asked to be moved to the main hotel and were given a very small dilapidated room that was in dire need of renovations. The only saving grace that the hotel has is it is in a lovely position and the pool and outdoor areas are good. However they do not have enough sun loungers to accommodate the quantity of guests staying at the hotel. On a more positive note the staff were very friendly and accommodating. "

"I have been to Bali more times than i can count, and stayed at many hotels in different areas, and Jayakarta will always be my first choice for its value and location. OK, so its not the newest and trendiest, but for its price you really can not do better. Its right on the beach, has a kick ass breaky and just far enough away from kuta without feeling like your in the middle of nowhere. I recommend an upstairs deluxe room as you can get somewhat of an ocean view."
