The hotel is perfectly located between Legian beach and busy street. But the lush garden could keep you away from the bustle of street.
The deluxe room I stayed looks a quite bit of old. There’s no hairdryer nor safety box in the room. I asked housekeeping in the first night to bring me a hair-dryer. But I couldn’t get it in the 2nd day when I changed to another room.
As a single traveler, a single-bed room or twin bed is acceptable. But a triple-bed seems too exaggerated. Under firm request, the friendly front-desk finally agreed to give me a king-sized-bed room in face of the sea. Unluckily I found also some obvious stains on the chair.
The hotel has three swimming pools, a tennis court, a gym without aerobic-training but only weight-training machines inside and other facilities that can meet the need of major tourists.
The room price matches its service. But I would not expect either too much from this hotel.

| "Wonderful Hotel, rooms nice and clean, aircon worked a treat, 3 large pools to choose from. Hotel was fully booked whilst there but was still nice a quite. Bathrooms maybe need an upgrade but are still clean. We had 5 rooms booked (large group) and no-one had any issues." |

| "We have stayed at Jayakarta a number of times now and find the location and cost very suitable for us. It is a large hotel and when it is full during school holidays etc it can be very noisy and has a feeling of overcrowding. The breakfast's are great as well as the staff. Would recommend it for the budget traveller." |

| "The Jayakarta Hotel was very disappointing. We booked an apartment that was in an annex away from the main hotel. The rooms were very old and dingy with no views whatsoever. We asked to be moved to the main hotel and were given a very small dilapidated room that was in dire need of renovations. The only saving grace that the hotel has is it is in a lovely position and the pool and outdoor areas are good. However they do not have enough sun loungers to accommodate the quantity of guests staying at the hotel. On a more positive note the staff were very friendly and accommodating. " |

| "I have been to Bali more times than i can count, and stayed at many hotels in different areas, and Jayakarta will always be my first choice for its value and location. OK, so its not the newest and trendiest, but for its price you really can not do better. Its right on the beach, has a kick ass breaky and just far enough away from kuta without feeling like your in the middle of nowhere. I recommend an upstairs deluxe room as you can get somewhat of an ocean view." |

| "This is second year staying at Jayakarta,is very good value for price, rooms good ,bathrooms could do with a little updating,The facilities are excelent, lovely pools, probably there best attribute is there staff, everyone from the gardners to the reception staff are so nice and friendly, they have great breakfasts and friendly friendly staff, even the guy who cooks your eggs will have a chat.We are a couple and liked how quiet the rooms are,set in the gardens and away from any noise. Just across from the beach not far to carry your surfboard. The jayakarta should be proud of there staff and we will definately be back.
Thank you Robyn and Kim ,Australia." |
