The location is good, next to the beach and the shopping area. although the beach is not good for swimming, only for surfing. It is very close to the shopping area. it is a good hotel for couples and families.

| "Good value for money. Been to Bali 13 times and have stayed 3 times at Melasti, largely based on price.
Lots of us Aussies there. Located right on the beach. Close to Kuta and shops, cheap deli & internet over the road.
Stayed in cottages which are huge. Staff great.
Main pool area a little short of lounges which is a common comment about a lot of hotels.
As many others have said the breakfast is average but eggs are the go.
Overall, not 5 star but very good value.

| "Great for the budget traveller, The pool water was very hot, and there was a lot of swearing easily heard around the main pool. Good service from staff, and the breakfast was good." |

| "A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stressed to be removed from children (e.g. the pool area) and it was done. The clientele was generally 'a bit rough at the edges' but not disturbing.
We requested adjoining rooms but were told that it was not possible because booking rooms could not be arranged. However, when we isolated certain rooms at Reception we were told "no; that room is booked"! A little confusing.
The location is perfect - on the beach, and many recommended restaurants at Seminyak,within easy walking distance. " |

| "Had a great stay at the melasti beach resort have already booked to go back next year. This hotel is not a five star resort. It is great value the rooms are clean and it is in a brilent location. would recomend to any one." |
