We had a fantastic stay here. A very large room with a settee and 2 chairs overlooking one of the pools. The hotel was spotless, the staff friendly, smiling, and welcoming. The location was good , a short taxi ride into Kuta. There was plenty of restaurants close by and stalls and shops to buy from. The hotel restaurant overlooked the beach and there was a good selection of food available. Absalutely fasntastic value for money and I would definately stay here again.

| "Good value for money. Been to Bali 13 times and have stayed 3 times at Melasti, largely based on price.
Lots of us Aussies there. Located right on the beach. Close to Kuta and shops, cheap deli & internet over the road.
Stayed in cottages which are huge. Staff great.
Main pool area a little short of lounges which is a common comment about a lot of hotels.
As many others have said the breakfast is average but eggs are the go.
Overall, not 5 star but very good value.

| "A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stressed to be removed from children (e.g. the pool area) and it was done. The clientele was generally 'a bit rough at the edges' but not disturbing.
We requested adjoining rooms but were told that it was not possible because booking rooms could not be arranged. However, when we isolated certain rooms at Reception we were told "no; that room is booked"! A little confusing.
The location is perfect - on the beach, and many recommended restaurants at Seminyak,within easy walking distance. " |
