| "A pleasant resort - quite pricey though compared with other available accomodation in Talumben. Simple rooms, comfy bed, and very polite and helpful staff. There was no 'mini bar' or tv (fine with me!). The 'spa' is two very simplistic massage beds in an open room - but the therapists were lovely. The restuarant is great. Complimentary breakfasts are superb and the menu is varied and it's reasonable value for money. The gardens are well maintained and very impressive and the small pool was clear and clean, but frosty (apparently always is!) - but the ocean is so accessable and warm, just take little water-shoes because the beach is very rocky and harsh on feet! Happy holidaying!
NB: Don't even bother staying in Talumben if you're not scuba diving - there's little to do here other than dive. No shopping (other than a few groceries). A few nice resturants and bars. It takes three hours to get to the resort from the airport (60kms!) and more to get to Ubud. Diving is spectacular however!" |

| "Loved it, loved it, loved it! I couldn't praise this place highly enough. It's isolated, quiet, and stunning. The rooms are beautiful, the staff gorgeous, and the food absolutely delicious. The seaside pool is framed by the most beautiful huge trees and you can lie under them on the deck and take in the view. Stunning! If you want somewhere to relax, you'll love it." |

| "Mimpi Resort was ideally located for doing the wrek dive in Tulamben and the dive shop at the hotel was well run with great equipment. The rooms were clean and basic, the best part of the room was the amazing shower! The food I have to say could do with being improved and the menu was a bit limited, although the breakfasts were good. Overall a pleasant stay and ideal for anyone planning to dive. " |
