| "The staff at Nick's couldn't be more welcoming and the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel is just five minutes for the shops and restuarants of Ubud, yet felt completely peaceful among the rice fields. I'll definitely be going back." |

| "At $22 per night for a spacious fan room plus breakfast, Nick's is excellent value for money. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We just have two minor criticisms (i) whilst the breakfast was tasty, it was very skimpy, with the portions too small (incidentally, the restaurant itself is very good value) (ii) the speed of the overhead fan could not be adjusted and created too strong a draught. Other than these two minor points, we would highly recommend Nick's - we stayed for a week." |

| "Travelling couple with 15 month old girl.
This place is made up out of 2 store bungalow. We had the top floor. There is a nice swimming pool and the service is great. Eg free tea every morning. The location is very good, coming out the front you are in town, going out the back the same and close to the monkey forest. The garden is very nice and there is a rice field in it as well. We saw the harvest straight from our balkony (large).
Draw backs were:
- the bathroom, shower, sink and toilet in one, so after shower all is wet. No wiper available
- restaurant not good (but many others around)
- the garden has many steps, so for a baby that walks not so suitable" |

| "I have stayed at Nick's Penson for three days. The sceneric view is very beautiful with paddy fields and many trees. My room is quite okay but the bathroom is not so clean, anyway, it is suitable for budget travelers. Their staffs are so nice and polite.
PS. Please be realized that there are three Nick's Hotels in Ubud (Nick's Pension, Nick's Homestay and Nick's Hidden). It migt be confused for shuttle bus companies to bring you up to the airport or Kuta beach so ask them clearly." |

| "the whole environment is very peaceful and tranquil. a lot of steps to climb if your room is further into the pension. but that means you are nearer to the other exit to ubud market, which is good! do take the room with aircon because with the netting covering the bed, you won't get any air from the fan. i will definitely recommend nick's pension! :)" |
