| "It is exclusive, room furnishing is excellent - new, modern, clean and cozy. The best part is the private beach, you will really fall in love with the sea and the beach and the sun once again ! There are some shops and restaurants (which serve really good grilled seafood)located 5 mins away from the hotel. However, to Legian and Kuta shopping area takes about 30 minutes by cab. Breakfast has a good spread and you could enjoy live music performance as well. We had a good time at the spa too, this is truely a getaway from buzzingly city lifestyle. " |

| "My family had a 2 bedroom apartment with its own private pool. The pool was larger than we expected and set in lovely gardens, well shaded with sun lounges and a Balinese day bed. The room was spacious and very well set up including kitchen facilities - no microwave but we chose to eat out as one should on holiday! The breakfasts were quite busy at times but had a good choice and the venue was pleasant. The hotel also has a small coffee/pastry shop if you choose not to take the breakfast option. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. " |

| "We just ended our Bali holiday with 6 nights at the Novotel Nusa Dua. This is our second stay at the resort and after much shopping about Asiarooms was by far the best rate.
This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a courtyard, pool & gazebo. The room was modern and spacious. The only slight draw back was that the private pool wasn't heated so we used it as a quick dipper.
The resort pools are large, warm and inviting. The beach club is 2 minutes away at Greger Beach by regular shuttle. The beach club was great, the sand white and the water inviting.
The resort pool menu has dropped by about 30% which makes it very reasonable. The new "Pause Cafe" also serves cheap pastries and pies (but the service there is a little slow).
If you don't want to eat in there are endless dining options nearby who all pick you up and return you if you wish. Many are just at short stroll away in Bualu Village.
The resort has a nice relaxing feel. It is family friendly and the staff are polite and graceful.
Will we return again ....... absolutely!" |

| "We had a great stay for 11 nights from 15th January, two adults one child of (9). Our first time back to Nusa Dua area for some 12 years. The Novotel resort is perfect for families wanting a safe and reasonably quiet area in Bali. One of the few new resorts/hotels in the area, and has the advatange of being more an apartment style hotel. Upgraded to a two bed suite on arrival at the hotel as no rollaway beds available in our one bed "residence". We were very impressed on arrival with the whole resort - it certainly looks much better in real life than some of the photo's I had seen on the internet. Being an apartment style resort rooms are huge (estimate our 2 bed apartment at around 130sqm). Also very large balcony with table setting and day bed overlooking pool area. Restaurant was good overlooking central pool area, very firendly staff and good menu's catering for all tastes - also very reasonably priced for a Nusa Dua hotel. We ate also at the neighbouring Ayoda and also at the Conrad and Grand Hyatt and these we all very good and recommended for a special dining experience. As you would expect Novotel appears around 30-40% cheaper than those dining experiences - but they were their upmarket restaurants and still very reasonable by our standards. Wine expensive everywhere we went - cocktails were generally same price as an average quality white/red wine, so beer and mohito/capriosca/caprinhia was a good way to go! Arranged a babysitter for our son on each of those three nights at the other hotels - he who was more than happy to stay at home (with his new videos etc.) From recollection the cost of babysitter was around $6 USD per hour. I played golf one day - a little expensive but good overall. Course at Le Meridien Tanah Lot is cheaper and better all round - approx 45 min drive. Only made it to the beach club on last two days of our stay - regular hotel shuttle takes 2.28 minutes thus the beach club is called "228". This is a great spot for beach lovers with panoramic views across to island(s), reef lined safe swimming beach - the best Ive seen in Bali and good standard for Asia. Bali Collection shopping area is fine for restaurants, we liked the brazilian style bbq/carvery with stage shows each night. A lot of international tourists at Nusa Dua. Supermarket, SOHO department store and a lot of boutiques but this being our 6th visit we generally prefer shopping at the local markets which line the two roads coming into Nusa Dua. These we much more developed since our last stay and some good bargains to be had. You can walk to one of the market areas where their is also some restaurants and spa's from the Novotel (less than 5 min walk). Most taxi's are metered and cheap. 10,000 to Bali Collection, 20,000 return from collection to hotel (???). About 70,000 to Kuta, or bargain with the Novotel concierge for hotel car at 100,000 for a more comfortable ride. They will quote you from a chart showing something like 125-150,000 for the Kuta trip. Finally kids club was also good but tended to cater for the younger kids. Our son was more than happy to go on several occassions though by choice and they had a playstation and you could order lunch etc. Good staff there. Also spa was excellent and very reasonably priced - actually cheaper than one of the outside spa's I had booked. Overall Novotel exceeded my already high expectations, will definately stay again and would recommend for small families with 2-3 kids. Very easy to get around the resort, large comfortable rooms hard to fault compared to a hotel room, limited dining options but restaurant very good and also not to mention their patisserie/bakery which served great authentic coffee and pastries, salads and light lunches as well." |

| "Beautiful hotel, though the service lacked. Checking in took ages, room service was often cold and took a long time to arrive + many items on the menu weren't available.
Furniture of poor quality, 2 broken chairs. Cleaning of the room took place some where late in the afternoon.
It just surprised us that a hotel of this size and international knowledge is so badly organized where it has so much potential.
Also little things, like the feed-back note which was in Indonesian..." |
