The Peneeda View hotel was a very friendly hotel but I was very diappointed in the fact that it was classified as being a hotel on the beach and yet it was the only only hotel along the stretch of beach not to have any sun loungers on it. Also, not enough loungers around the place for everyone to use.
The beach side bungalow was also a bit disappointing as I was epecting it to be on it's own but it wasn't plus the view of the sea was blocked by the eating area so I'm afraid another black mark against the hotel.
Good value for money though and very friendly staff.
Location good for restaurants etc and overall good value for money.

| "Overall we enjoyed our stay in Peneeda View.
What was good......
It's right on the beach, the restaurant runs alongside the beach and have a wonderful view. The pools are clean and in a lovely garden setting. The room was nice and included a sectioned off living space, as well as a front porch and back garden area. The bathroom was a good size. The breakfast was good quality.
Room for improvement.....
I had phoned up the hotel for an airport pick up which didn't show. No explanation or apology was provided. We paid an extra $20 for an 'Ocean View' and none of the rooms really have that, well maybe two at a stretch (save your money). It wasn't the cleanest hotel, but it was clean enough for me. " |

| "We enjoyed our August stay at Peneeda View with our 2.5 year old and 4 month old children. There were many other families with young children staying here, and it was nice to meet and mingle with them around the pools. There is one pool with a kiddies area and this was very close to the family villas. And there was always an available sun lounge and often under a tree or in the shade. The breakfast was plentiful and good, but service was often slow (and those with young kids know that you need to be in and out fast).
Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful as were the guys who cleaned the rooms. The gardens were lovely and well maintained. The one thing this hotel could benefit from is a kids club or something similar to occupy children for a few hours and give their parents the chance to relax. All in all we enjoyed this hotel and will likely return again." |

| "The Peneeda View is a great hotel, well located in Sanur. The grounds are lovely, the pools are excellent and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Our only concerns were that there were no fans in the rooms (as we react badly to airconditioning) and it stated that there was cable TV but we could only find one English speaking channel. On the whole it is a comfortable place to stay, great for families and in a good location." |
