| "Unfortunately my stay was ruined by the (non) reaction of hotel staff to a missing item from my room. In short, a blatant theft by the hotel staff !
Upon check out at 12 o'clock I mistakenly forgot to take my favorite pair of levi jeans from the closet.
My partner had seen them there as she was taking her clothes to pack.
I realised this at 5pm when I was dressing for my flight home and raced back to the hotel.
The reception staff thought it was funny and made no effort to locate the jeans. I literally had to force the hotel staff to use a spare key to enter the room. The jeans were no longer present in the room and new guests had checked in to the room.
Then my partner arrived and started talking to the hotel staff in Indonesian. They seemed to think it was a big joke and not their problem.
At that point I went back to the room and the new occupants (elderly couple) from America confirmed the jeans were not present upon check-in.
It was clear that the housekeeping department had taken the jeans as their own property. What type of hotel does not even leave lost property for at least a day in the Lost Property section ?
Dishonest and unaccountable staff !

| "I had called the day of arrival to arrange transport and provided details of my flight time and explained I was arriving early morning in a few hours. The receptionist failed to inform me that my booking dates were actually wrong. When I arrived at the airport the transfer from the hotel was not around. When I called up, I was told that the driver was busy and I had to wait. I ended up waiting half an hour. Upon arrival due to the mix up with booking dates the rooms were full and they upgraded us to a family room which was not clean and the bathroom tub was in need of repair. The tile had fallen off. Overall service/politeness was bad and it was unclean. I'm sorry." |

| "The Resort is perfect, it's about 10 minutes walk south of the main area (kuta) , so just out of the husstle and busstle. The resort it self is very quiet and peaceful, the staff are exceptional, nothing is a issue and always with a smile, the pool area is huge with swim up bar, waterfall in the pool and plenty of sunbeds, although the germans seem to get down there at 6am and reserve the bed ones! Resort back right on to the beach, so has direct access although the beach isn't much chop. There is locals selling products, massages, manicures on the beach, found this convenient and cheap. The buffet breakfast has every thing you can imagin, caters for all nationality's - totally the best breakfast. The rooms are average sized hotel rooms, has very thing you need, air con, mini bar, all that jazz, the bathrooms are ok, could do bit a bit of uodating but really for the money you pay pernight and the amount of time spent in the bathroom, really not an issue. I will be back here , i go to Bali every 6 months and this is my Bali home away from home. Special mention to Ayu who does the breakfast and also the pool service, very special person and makes the stay enjoyable. " |

| "The hotel stay was quite fantastic & the hotel location was within walking distance from the shopping district..perhaps the only complaint was that we had to wait for about an hour upon arrival at the hotel as there was no available room to check-in immediately." |

| "I had a good stay at the Ramada, it is my 3rd time there, the pool area is fantastic, huge pool and was always able to get a sun bed with out an issue. The rooms are dated ( look exactly like the room picture but am sure was taken 6 years ago) - saying that was still comfortable and had all the mod cons required. staff were so very friendly and went of of their way, very professional with their dealings wit guests. Will stay here again, value for money for sure, on the beach and walking distance to kuta, all in all 4 out of 5 for me
thanks and cheers" |
