| "We stayed in the deluxe room, wich was very nicely renovated and big. The plasma tv with dbs and dvd player were great.
However I was not really satisfied about the rest of the hotel. Breakfast is poorly organised and our biggest problem was the Sanur village festival that was going next door to the hotel. Very loud music whole day long and really busy with watersports on the beach in front of Segara Village. So I would recommend to first find out the dates of that festival before you book. An other problem for us was that the hotel is full of Dutch people. Because I'm from Holland myself, that is not what I'm looking for in my holiday.
Furthermore, there are not enough seats near the pool of the deluxe rooms and the bathroom sometimes smells really horible. " |

| "The hotel has just a big problem. The restaurant for breakfast and diner has absolutely no appeal. It is very bare, white painted walls, no artifacts or decorations...The food at breakfast was a bit short of everything, very little choice.
But the rest is nice, position on the beach, near markets and restaurants, beautiful gardens, lots of little ponds, etc...A good place for a rest !" |

| "I found the hotel very nice but if you like the beach and the sea you would have to look for another hotel.
The only problem i had with the hotel is having the same small selection for breakfast for 7 days.i also found the hotel a bit over priced for what you get." |

| "Segara Village is located at Jalan Segara Ayu, which has its pros and cons. As it is not located at Jalan Tambligan (like most hotels), you may find it difficult to get a taxi outside your hotel. You would have to either walk out to the main road (Jl.Toba), take the hotel taxi (a huge car RP100,000 to KUTA/US15 to airport/RP250,000 to Nusa Dua- 2way), or take the taxi tout waiting outside the hotel, preying on hotel guests (not recommended).
Segara Village is a huge plot of land, made to resemble an actual village. There is a restaurant, 2 pools, many sunbeds, a table tennis table, a tennis court (under reno), a jacuzzi bar, a pool table, and a library.
The room is clean and visually pleasing. The only complain would be the mosquitoes and the smell of the toilet, which was probably choked and stinked badly. A queen size bed is given two pillows. There is a mini bar in the room. Door lock is surprisingly "an easy to break in" type, so do take care of your belongings.
The hotel is right next to the beach (Sindhu Beach). However, be warned, that you will be swarmed by beach masseurs and all sort of business sales pitch at the beach. Not very pleasant. The exit/entrance to the beach has no gate, hence anyone can walk in. Another reason to make sure your belongings in the room is kept safe just in case.
The hotel is now under renovation, but it is not noisy. Currently, the tennis court is under reno, some of the houses are also under reno, and the restaurant by the beach is soon to be completed.
The service is very good. Everone, especially the garden maintenance workers (and there are many of them), would greet you when you walk past.
The walk from Segara Village to Jalan Tambligan is a rather long walk. Under the heat, it would feel like an eternity before you reach your destination. " |

| "A big thank you to your resort for assisting us in have an amazing holiday. The staff were fantastic and friendly and the room was divine. We will definately be coming back to stay. The resort is so close to the beach and shops but private enough to have quiet time away as well. Well done and see you again!!!!!" |
