Located in an alley of Poppies Gang I, 5 minutes walk max from the beach and the shops.
Clean, small garden, clean pool; friendly staff.
I arrived after midnight, no problem to check in and get something to drink.

| "Third time we went to Sorga and still so pleasant and quiet but the bathrooms should be renewed ASAP as well as the towels." |

| "This hotel is located in a good place, close to the beach: about 5 minutes walk, and about 8-10 minutes to the Legian street (the busiest street and center of the Kuta beach). Receptionists, staff, bodyguard, and the owner are friendly and helpful.
The environment is good, clean and the swimming pool is also nice.
Before getting the room, the clients should check the air-condition, the hot water, the mosquitos inside the room. There are 2 computers with internet connection, but there is not free of charge on using them. You have to pay 4000 Rupiah/minutes, quite expensive.
I would stay here next time.

| "Room:
Decent room with air-con and tv as promised. There's a musky smell in the room, which could be due to the wooden furniture used, but it isn't unbearable and the smell soon goes away (or maybe we got used to it? :) ). The size of the room is pretty big.. there are even chairs beside the bed to put our stuff or just to sit around. I didn't expect that for the price that we are paying.. so it's a pleasant surprise.
Bathroom:
It's clean but the hot water wasn't warm enough. Still, good enough for us. :)
Facilities and Service:
There's a cafe that closes pretty late. We touched down in Bali at about 930 pm, and I was impressed by the staff's hospitality when we reached Sorga at around 10 pm. We were each given a glass of ice limau (sugar + lime + water) as refreshments after we were shown to our rooms. As we hadn't had our dinner yet, we made our way down to the cafe for some food, which thankfully was still open.
Location:
Sorga is about 10 minutes walk away from the beach, which is a bit far actually. But there are good and relatively cheap cafes around the area to chill and take a break, definitely a plus point.
Value for money:
I've given Sorga a good rating for its impressive service and its price. A clean, pleasant, and of course cheap place to stay in if you're going to Bali on a backpacking trip." |

| "This hotel was fantastic for $27 per night. We arrived at 11pm but were encourage to have a swim and a drink in the bar. The lane way from Poppies lane is a little scary the first night, but when the location is realisied, it is well worth it. You can carry a surf board from the beach and be in the hotel in 5 minutes. No need for a car or bike only 200 meters. Please keep in mind, you get what you pay for. The pool was the best feature more suited to a more expensive hotel. I travelled with 2 daughters 10 and 13 and they loved the hotel too. " |
