"I stayed at the suji bungalows for 5 nights in 2 rooms.I really disliked it.The bathroom was putrid,the walls which originally were blue tile were crusted over with a thick white layer of scum ,with even old wet toilet paper stuck to the floor,I thought the location would be handy,but it wasn't,as the lane is very narrow and lots of tight turns and the taxi drivers refused to take us back to the hotel and would drop us at the beach loaded with shopping,needless to say there are no taxis out either.which was a pain as I was travelling with kids and one was sick. The staff were pleasant and helpful,and changed rooms for us as the 1st didn't have the air-con working properly.The pool is nice and clean,though the water warm as it is in full sun all day,and the breakfast is below average.Overall I was very disappointed, I saw a young couple complaining about the filthy rooms and they packed up and left first thing the next morning. There are some good restaurants close,but they are everywhere and not a good reason to stay.They have newer rooms at the front,maybe they were better."
