| "A very pleasant surprise. Great value and perfect place for a quiet holiday. The beach which is at the back of the hotel is not suited to swimming but a lovely big pool. Rooms were large and well maintained and breakfast was really enjoyable with broad range of food. Would not hesitate to stay again and the dolphin watching and snorkeling was fun, just leave your 'greenies' hat at home." |

| "We were rather surprised when we got to Sunari. We weren't expecting such a lovely hotel in Lovina, considering we paid the same for a comfortable but mediocre hotel in Kuta. The place is right on the beach and the breakfast is the best we had anywhere in Bali. the pool is nice and the service is tolerably good. We didn't attend any of the hotel's arranged entertainment, but it did seem like it had a bit going on. Just down the beach is the Warung Dolphin, whose owner Gede also takes people dolphin spotting. We had an amazing experience with the dolphins circling around our boat. Altogether a great place to honeymoon, though a standard room instead of a superior would have been fine too." |

| "We stayed in a Garden View Villa at Sunari two nights now in June '08. The hotel has an OK location with only a 8-900 meters walk into the main restaurant and bar street.
The hotel needs "refreshing". We changed room after the first night because of several small "problems" with the room. The next room that we got had a noisy AC and problems with the main door. Including us there where only 25 guest staying at the hotel so I guess that this 2 villas where soem of the best they got.
The pool and the poolarea however is greate, and that is good because the beach wheren't. The beach where also crowded with hawkers.
Lovina isn't a place to go if you don't like quietness, reading and early nights, because nothing really happends there.
Finaly. There where construction work at some of the rooms so hopefully the rooms gets better, and the amount of visitors increase, because the hotel could be much better than it is at the moment. Still.... maybe one of the better hotels at Lovina. Just don't expect 5-star facilities

| "This was a superb value. Do take the private villa with the pool. The large pool is also quite good and we were right on the beach. Lovely setting, though it is tricky to get to town after dark when public transportation stops. It's a long walk - about 20 minutes. we thought the service was very good, especially our driver and guide, Nura, who was exceptional. Also, the spa was very good. Skip the mandi lulur, however, unless you enjoy having your skin rubbed off. The only downsides were that the beach was impossible to use because the vendors there are terribly aggressive. The resort will need to do something about that. Also, the restaurant food is so-so. There are many other better restaurants. " |

| "We stayed for 2 nights at Sunari, the room is excellent for the budget but the bathroom is very dark and smells bad, the swimming pool area is the best place of the hotel and you can spend the whole day relaxing, the breakfast is OK and the restaurant is not at the same leve of the hotel." |

| "We have a great vacation in lovina-bali although stay only 1 night in SUNARI. This hotel is great and we can go to the beach through back door of the hotel. The room is clean, and bathroom is amazing. Breakfast is nice and all the staff give us very friendly welcome.

| "Very restful resort hotel indeed! Four star good and friendly service - on one star price! Good breakfast ( buffet ). One km from Lovina village centre ( Kalibukbuk ) is perhaps too long to walk for senior people." |

| "I stay here for 1 night. Is about 3 hours drive from Sanur to Lovina and its by small road.
It's look like it's a faraway place. However, you can relax here cuz it's not pack with tourist and it's a good place for relaxation and put all your worries behind.
The spa was really nice and cheap. The mandi lulu for two was only 300,000 RP and it's was nice:)
We stay at one of the villa with a day bed, outdoor shower with a personal pool at only $100 per night. I love the pool, very nice but the daybed was dirty.
The indoor bathroom is very big with a bathtub in it. Room was comfortable. However, the resort look somehow like not a lot of guests had been going there, maybe becuz of the location.
We had a very nice breakfast and the staff there are nice. They are some locals outside at the beach who will try to sell things to you. But, if you say no, they will not bother you. They are not pushy.
Look like we will be back there again cuz i like the spa, the quiet location and the personal pool in the villa:)
We went to Melka Lovina which is juz next to Sunari for a swim with the dolphins. I think this is a tourist trap & the staff there prefer westerner rather than us Asian.
I had a bad experience there and would not recommend people to go there to have a swim with the dolphins.
When we were there, the guide juz kept talking to the Germany's family beside us and totally ignore us.
We juz sat there and after that when it's my turn and i don't him that i don't know how to swim, he said that he will guide me.
When i got down the water, as i had juz done the spa, he said that the dolphins don't like the smell and ask me to take a bath to wash the odour away.
When we are back, more westerners came and i could see that he juz don't have the heart to serve us. He ask me to get into the water, lay on my back and keep my leg straight and the dolphin will swim in between my legs.
The dolphins are real strong and for a non-swimmer like me, i got afraid and struggle and the dolphins juz keep on pushing and pushing me and i almost drown and drank lots of water.
I ask to go back and take a seat. After this, he completely ignored us and even my husband know how to swim, he ask us to go to the next pool and juz touch the dolphin.
I got very upset. We pay 100,000 rupiah more to swim with the dolphins and this is the service of what we had gotten.
I got very angry and insisted that my husband get into the pool and swim with the dolphins cuz we pay for it. The guide juz totally ignore us and serve the westerners there.
It's only when my husband got really angry and request for the refund that he let my husband down the pool. Also, he let my husband in the pool for less than 5 minutes even though we pay for 20 minutes.
I am totally dissapointed with the service at Melka Lovina. I would not go there again. For the 100SGD that we felt we had been cheated, i can give it to them and earn the money back but it's the attitude of the guide that pissed us off. Stupid Service!" |

| "Very nice villas, nice and spacious room, nice bathroom.Very good environment all around this place. Staffs are very friendly. Pool is Beautiful.
Lovina Beach is located at the north tip of Bali.If you are not planning to go out often. This area is one of the best. Black sand beaches, quiet environments.
Going out to places of interest like Kuta, Denpasar, Ubud is not very accesible.A 2 way ride will take at least 5hrs.
Try to change hotel if you would need to hang out in Kuta area if you have a long stay in Bali.
Surrounding area facilities are not very complete. Food options are limited in and outside the villa.
Overall Great Deal... Will definately come back to this villa again." |
